Can’t wait to see you and Courtney Victoria. Love her work. I first thought she was to hard on herself until I watched a lot of her videos and saw that she is looking for her own spirit in her pictures. I think that’s why she loves water, waterfalls, mist, and fog so much. Looking for that spirit. I think that’s why I enjoy her pictures so much she has such a sweet soul.

Wow, did I need this video. Last week I underwent distal bicep tendon reattachment surgery on my right arm. All the photography plans for this fall shattered a little over a month ago. You have inspired me to think out of the box and laid plan. We have an amazing Metropark system, even voted #1 in the USA. We will just see what Images I can create. This vlog just blew my mind and I have to say I was feeling for you a bit weather wise on day's one and two but like the true trooper you are you kept going and and as the vlog went on it just got better and better. I don’t know when you filmed exactly, but this week in my town has been a rollercoaster of weather. A shed load of rain followed by a shed load of wind. This has all made my local park damp and gloomy but strangely warm for October.
Earlier this week there was a brood of ten ducklings only a few days old. The next day the troop had reduced to three. They were little photogenic bundles of energy running around the water’s edge trying to see the world.

Loved this! It just so happens that yesterday I decided at the last minutes to visit a local reservoir that is only 15 minutes from my home just to see what I could see and not really expecting to get any decent shots. But as luck would have it, I came away with several interesting images and plans to go back again and again to explore the many possibilities that I saw for other images. This video motivated me even more so to re-visit that reservoir under various lighting conditions. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Kim, that was such a beautiful and calming video. I was feeling a bit low in spirits this morning and watching and enjoying your video has cheered me up. It was quiet and just lovely and sometimes when we feel down and we don't know why, just a wee bit of the right TLC can bring you round. Your images of the ducks on the water during the morning golden hour were beautiful and they are, and will be, there in my mind's eye throughout this day. Thank you Kim.

That was awesome. Have you read Tristan Gooley's books? He mostly does navigation via nature, but his books on the weather, the water, and the trees are quite inspiring for nature photogs, I think.

I have read "How to read water" and I have his navigation book. Both are brilliant!

Hello Kim. This is not the first time I've checked out your VLOG. But, it is the first time I've made a real comment on the video. I think it was a great idea to get up really early and walk to your local pond and photograph. Some of the images you shot was really breathtaking. I'm an amateur photographer, and I'm getting along in my years. This Friday with the grace of the universe I'll be 72 years old. Believe it or not I'm in great shape for my age. I have been thinking along the same line as you as far as getting out early in the morning. The light is so beautiful that time of the day; not to mention how sweet the air smell in the morning in the woods. Here's the thing. I want to start VLOGing. But, how do you come up with a decent conversation to have with the camera (your audience)? Do you work with a scrip or do you just start talking and sort it out later. Believe it or not, I'm a pretty decent photographer; just bad at selling! What did you do when you got started? This is nice work you've done. Peace to you and may God Bless!
