Looks great! I watched some ride through videos before too. Great job with the POV and swapping cameras. Love how dark the rooms are with the lighting but see what you mean with the dead space. Front row was brave 🙏
The empty space scenes in the ride could be such an easy fix. Just spread out the animatronics a little better so Tiana can find the each critter later .
The storyline for mickeys runaway railway is better, with weaker animatronics, which is a bit unfortunate. Tianas Bayou's adventure had better animatronics with a weaker story.
we waited 5 hours in the sun to ride, and when they finally fixed their issues, they kicked the 11am-12pm group out (but let everyone else stay) lol They even just told us that every group would be allowed in once they fixed their ride. They went back on their word. Our event was insanely mishandled
28:33 The truck would have looked much better with painted graphics. In the year that truck is from, screen-printed graphics didn't exist. That's one of my issues with this ride-there are many subtle details that wouldn't have been overlooked by Imagineering even 10 years ago.

Also Splash Mountain had more characters, in the area of the laughing place it’s so cheaply done giant mushrooms and a screen with Tiana and a Louis and an animatronic stuck in a couple of places. It was a cheap fix when Disney has more than enough money to have created an attraction that could’ve been worthy of something. I know what we spend as AP’s and DVC members and Disney’s answer is to add screens so it’s cheaper and they don’t have to do much work. They took an attraction created by Tony Baxter and replaced it with intellectual junk.
From what I could tell, it looks like you got a really good ride with the animatronics all working properly. You even got to see JuJu. He likes to stay hidden a great deal.
I wish there were more animatronics singing along. Especially in the dig a little deeper section the pink birds from the cartoon wouldve looked cool singing the gospel style background.
Not to get off track, if you go back to Universal City Walk the preview center for their next park "Epic Universe" is opening soon! I'm super hyped for that park next year!

The enthusiasm of our three hosts made it fun to watch as well. Different rides are good for different things --- this one just to look around and enjoy the visuals, and maybe to get wet and cool off on a hot day.
I really liked the filming in this review for Tiana's and also for the several precursor places and events. Unexpected and nice. As for Tiana's Adventure, maybe it is still incomplete. Disney rides have continuous presence. The absence of anything much in between separate little scenes leaves one feeling that the ride is opening before it is finished. There is a story that is yet to be told. Perhaps it still will be.
I'm sorry... I'm very disappointed, too much space with nothing but flowers and no Shadow Man??? And at night, it looks like Na'vi River Journey. I'm all about change but Disney had a chance to go big! And blow it... 😢
But this is one considerate fact about Splash Mountain towards whose miss it: Tokyo Disneyland is the only park with Splash Mountain and it has Magic Kingdom's soundtrack with banjos and harmonicas owing to the Critter Country being sub land of TDL's Westernland but with the quotes reworded into Japanese/Nihongo.
I could never justify spending over a hundred dollars, waiting for hours on end in Florida summer heat for such a mediocre ride. But hey, congrats? lol
I watch the spoilers too because I know it will be a while before I get to the parks. Been watching since they started the sneak previews earlier this week. I honestly thought you were switching between your go pro for the water stuff. Forgot about your phone. Great job switching between the two. I always like the front row too. I didnt mind getting wet because as hot as it gets at MK, I would dry quickly as a rule. Splash will always be my favorite but would love to get to ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure if I ever get to come down to Orlando one day. I like the Anamatronics better. Not a big fan of the screens but that is probably because I am old school. I love the musical critters, Lari, and Louis best of all. Maybe later on they will add more anamatronics to fill the empty spots. As always Meg another Awesome vlog!!😊

Of course there were dead spaces...they didn't give them the budget and they wanted to keep the maintenance costs at a minimum. Their budgets are a fraction of what Oriental Land's are for their Disney parks.
The "Splash Cult" was never going to accept this no matter if it was the greatest ride ever made. I think people forgot how awful Splash had gotten over the years...
I watched the preview because I too have no patience. LOL I was not enthusiastic about ever riding this ride. It makes me worried for the country bears jamboree now. They’re ruining all the classics trying to fix what’s not broke.
For some reason Tiana is trying to find some critters to play music at her resturant. Which is immediately shot down in the first 5 seconds of the ride wher you run into a band of critters.
Beautiful and fun ride!! Not every ride needs drama.Tiana was preparing for a party and that she did! Fun and safe version of a ride for kids. No scary villain is needed. Thanks for showing us your long day and this lovely ride!
I like what I'm seeing as far as the animatronics that is. It's going to be hard to win people over with Tiana's vs. Splash Mountain I get it. But it's just a ride, after all. There are going to be some things that are better with Tiana's bayou adventure and there are going to be things that are better with Splash Mountain. All I'm trying to say is if you don't like it, that's fine, but don't let that ruin your entire vacation. Because if you do your just hurting yourself.
Every video I see of the ride I get more and more disappointed. Either Disney just didn’t want to spend the money, or they were lazy and didn’t care. They should have just had the theme set in the movies timeframe. Having a villain would have made it so much better. It’s just sad, because every review so far has been about how lackluster it is. It’s not up to where splash mountain was. And you know they will never change/fix it. So Disney fans are just going to have to deal with it. So disappointing 😢

It would have been cooler if they added the bottles along the tunnel going up the big drop. Or add more lights and color on the walls.
