    This is my third year (dance changes every three month in a year) of Tango. The video and instructions are very useful, especially the names of figures appeared on the video. Thank you, Egils.

    Thanks for the video, I found it hard to remember the difference between reverse turn and natural turn?

    • @EgilsSmagris
      @EgilsSmagris  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Dawei for appreciating this video. Reverse Turn turns to left, but Natural Turn turns to right.

    Is there a explicit difference between "Open Reverse Turn Lady Outside" and "Open Reverse Turn Lady Inline"? They both look identical to me.

    • @EgilsSmagris
      @EgilsSmagris  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Magurosenbei thanks for your question. In Reverse Turn with Lady in line 1) Second step is close for Lady and therefore Man’s second step is smaller. 2) Third step for Lady is between Man’s feet and Man steps back without CBMP

    What is the difference between Tango Reverse Turns and Waltz Reverse Turns?

    • @EgilsSmagris
      @EgilsSmagris  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for Your question! First of all there is difference in rise and fall and therefore also in footwork in Waltz and Tango. As you may know in Tango there is no rise and fall. Also step pattern is slightly different, Tango Basic Reverse Turn for Man is with Cross in step 3. For Lady Tango Reverse Turn pattern is more or less same as in Waltz Reverse Turn. In Tango Basic Reverse Turn ended in Promenade is self-explanatory difference - Tap in PP. In Tango Open Reverse Turn we use 3rd step open, that is not closed or crossed. Hope it helps! :)
