Hey folks, congrats again on your rising tide of subs. There are plenty of bloggers here in Oz and I can't justify subbing to them all. I live in Australia after all and take advantage of what I'm blessed with outside my door. I lived and worked in the UK for the good part of 6 years and whilst I loved my time there and there's plenty I miss, it did make me so much more appreciative of this beautiful island continent we call home. What sealed the sub deal for me, beyond your charming personalities of course was your genuine love for all that lives, breathes, grows, flys, crawls and slithers under the bright sun from micro to macro. We're blessed to have the two of you call Australia home now. Enjoy Cobbers

It was only a few days ago you were at 200 subs. That just shows how much people care and enjoy your vlogs to get that many so quickly. And I think it's also because you're so relatable to a lot of people wanting to move down under. Who knows, maybe you may inspire other Brits to move to Australia.

Hubby and I have just started watching your videos and subscribed. We are an older retired couple but love watching you guys! I have always been a lover of large dogs but your little Picco could really change my mind! What a little character he is! My hubby is originally from Manchester and came out here as a youngster but still has his accent. Sometimes I find it hard to understand you guys but I just rewind until I get it! We love watching you both. Howard is from Bolton Lancashire and came to Australia in 1972. You have certainly picked a beautiful location to live. We have learnt so much about the Sunshine Coast and the surrounding suburbs since watching you, and we live on the Northside of Brisbane. We are actually going to Mooloolaba today and going to try the Backlane street food resturant for my birthday. We didn't know about this place until we watched you. There is one Indian restaurant we go to at Golden Beach, Caloundra, called Dillons Restaurant. You do have to book as it's extremely popular with the locals. PS, we have watched every episode thus far and truly have loved every one. Congratulations 🎊 guys, you are both natural and amazing to watch ❤

IT is very hard to migrate to another country my wife migrated here in the 1970s from Scotland so with the exception of getting home sick just be patient good luck hope it works out for u both WELCOME
Parasol sounds very European - people here usually just refer to them as beach umbrellas. Theres a growing trend to set up portable cabannas on the beach which can get a little out of hand when its a popular beach that gets crowded. Refreshing to hear viistors from the UK actually enjoying their experience and slipping into the Aussie lifestyle rather than having a whinge about how everything is different to back home. The Sunshine Coast is a beautiful part of Australia you are fortunate to be able to live there. A tip if you become a member of a club you usually get members prices on food and drinks etc. and get the cost of your membership back in 1 or 2 visits. Thats the case here in NSW I assume that in Queensland it would be the same. Enjoy

When I lived in South Korea, they had 5 wheelie bins one for food scraps, 1 for glass, 1 for tin, 1 for cardboard and one for plastics. Australians are exposed to many UK accents in tv comedy and sitcom shows. The only one I have difficulty with is a Glaswegian accent, no problem with the Edinburgh, Geordie, Yorkshire, Scouse, Brummie etc. Americans don't watch much British comedy, so they struggle a bit.
My Nanna was so proud to tell everyone that she was English & born in Salford Manchester even though her parents were from Athlone in Ireland. She came out on a sailing ship aged 6 months with her parents & older sister .They settled in Maryborough & ended up with 11 children.
Aussies are so Lucky to have all of these beautiful spots to visits within a couple of hours drive of home But so many very rarely or never go there. We are spoiled rotten is the problem everything is just taken for granted.

My family has the same tradition with dog names. They have a birth name then about 50 others that evolve over time. Loving Pico's new do, he's beyond cute . 🤗 Now, the parasol is an umbrella and someone's been playing soccer, not footy... Sorry, footy is Aussie Rules. Enjoy good people. ☮️ I am in .01% of Aussies that don't want to live where you are. As beautiful as it is, and I'm super happy to visit, I love the west coast. Australia is very beautiful all over and very diverse. 🐾

Pico with his hair long looks like an Ewok, so when his coat gets long again you can call him that 😅 Aussie slang for a roast chook from the supermarket in a bag is known as a "bachelor's handbag", so there's your new name for Pico while he's looking like a roast chook.
My wife and I both reckon Pico looks like Fizzgig from the Dark Crystal. But only reflection, as he looks like a roast chicken, you should call him "chook".
And the smartest thing you’ve done in Oz guys is to keep your dog’s fur trimmed in warmer weather. In all parts of Oz you will see some stupid Aussies walking dogs in hot weather and the dog’s fur is very long….it’s irresponsible and dangerous for the dog. Especially those fools that will be walking briskly or jogging and they are in a singlet and shorts and the dog is basically wearing a fur coat in 40 degrees! Dogs can suffer heat stroke. So well done guys. Your dog looks cool and is now cool ! 😂
You do realise that Liverpool and Manchester are only 30 miles apart? In Australia if you go 30 miles down the road you haven't really left home yet lol. i have a different opinion my mum and i felt the banans aren't as flavourful here and the tomato's aren't as flavourful I am no expert it is just my opinion. There are a lot of differences of course the warmer climate does help in the abundance of fruit and veg.
Get used to clubs. You should become a member of one as food/drinks etc are cheaper. You also have reciprocal agreements with many other clubs in Qld/Oz so you still get cheap food etc if you visit other clubs.
