    great video thank you! but do you have links for t-shirt with the same quality of the third one you tried on but with a removable tag pls?

      Unfortunately, all of the comfort colors and similar garments (like the Port & Company PC099) that are readily available are only sold with the sewn in labels.

    What are the best heavyweight long sleeves and wich ones have easy removed tags and can be a good fit for a skate brand??

      Hey Jared, fantastic question, and honestly, something we should have included in this video. The 3 styles that we show in this video all have long sleeve versions: The American Apparel 1304, Hanes 5186 Beefy Long Sleeve and the Comfort Colors 6014. The American Apparel and Hanes styles both feature removable labels too!

    Can you help me out. I really want the 1301 as a blank for my clothing brand. But I live in The Netherlands and I don't know how to order them. I'm searching everywere but it can not be shipped to me...........

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi Glenn! That's a tough one- In a few searches it looks like Wordans may carry some stock of the 1301 in Europe, but there's not a whole lot we could find either. You can always look for a close alternative in a 6oz (170 gsm) 100% cotton t-shirt like the Gildan Hammer Tee H000

    Hey Dave I’m not sure if you’ll see this comment but I was wondering what the blanks are for the green and blue tees in the background, they look really nice. Thank you

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Those two tees are the Port & Company PC54 Core Cotton Tee! They're great classic fits for very low cost. I believe the green is the "Dark Green" colorway and the blue is "Stonewashed Blue" We also love the PC450 Fan Favorite tee for a little bit nicer ring spun option.

    I love Bayside and they are USA made

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the suggestion! We tried to focus on low-cost blanks in this video that are available from a variety of distributors. With the mentions of Bayside, Shaka and AS Colour, we're going to have to revisit this topic with some additional brands!

    What about AS Colour ??

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great suggestion- We used some lower cost blanks, but with other comments about Shaka, Teestyled and AS Colour, we're going to have to revisit this one!

    The Gliden 5100 is supposed to be preshrunk, but when a printed heat applied graphic gets washed, it shrinks further and krinkles the graphic. Can you speak to that?
    Too little pressure when pressed? Issues with print size or something similar? Cheap transfer paper?

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! With cotton (or organic fiber) garments, the preshrinking process limits & reduces shrinking, but does not eliminate it completely. In many cases these t-shirts will still shrink with the fibers tightening together depending on how they are laundered (typically 3-7%) all from being exposed to water and/or heat.
      Graphics will wrinkle when not applied correctly (including pressure & pre-heating) or when using a transfer type that does not move and expand with the fabric of the t-shirt. Almost any print method (including traditional screen printing) can be prone to wrinkles or puckering around the design with styles that shrink a lot in the wash.

    Hey Dave the beginning of the video you have a blue t-shirt next to you that says "palm bay", what t-shirt style is that and where can I find that blank, I really like it? Thank you so much for your time!

      That one is the Port & Company® Core Cotton Tee PC54 in Stonewashed Blue! The color is SUPER nice and the blanks are an incredible value. At 5.4 oz fabric weight it's on the heavier end, but not quite as heavyweight as the styles we cover in this video.

    Would you recommend these (or any others) for embroidery as well? Looking for some that are good for both, thanks!

    • @transferexpress
      @transferexpress  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It really depends on the embroidery and the stabilizer you're using. With correct hooping and the right stabilizer these t-shirts should be ok with embroidery. While being a heavyweight 6 oz fabric for these tees (heavy compared to other t-shirt fabric), something more in the 7 oz or higher range may provide better results with embroidery depending on the artwork and stitch count.

    There’s one called Shaka Wear as a popular street wear blank.
