The Dash layout is amazing. The cluster makes it very comfortable to new future pilots like me. People crying about price but forgetting about the inflation we are dealing with here. Materials did not get any cheaper. Prices went up. I really like this layout and really looking forward to the day I can purchase a G7.
Just curious what actual features do you like about the G7 over the G6 or is it just the looks. Which are important of course but as a future pilot what is interesting to you .. just curious I own a G6
Great question@@PILOTCIRRUSASIA . As I have been in the G6 but only once and I was not the pilot. So this comes from observation point and again a total new future pilot. The G7 dash layout is amazing. Shorter, and more sportier. So much so as it reminds me of a car. Instruments look a lot less intimidating. Easier to use and navigate. Since its been only a few times sitting in a cockpit looking at this wall of avionics is very intimidating. This layout looks comfortable.
@@FredFolkertsG7 looks more complicated to me but I have 700hours in my G6 I wonder what it's like trying to use a touch screen in turbulence.. Sometimes older FMS dials are a lot easier
@@PILOTCIRRUSASIA You have a heck of a lot of experience than I do. I just figured like any other touch screen, car, motorcoach, etc on bumpy roads you need to have multiple fingers making contact. A couple to hold yourself against the plane and one to navigate the buttons. But again you know a lot more than I do :) Now would I pay to upgrade from a G6 to a G7. Probably not. With the experience you already have with the G6 why would you? No new motor features or performance.
Its really only expensive to people who cannot afford one! The price of the aircraft is irrelevant, the bigger question is what can I create, that will pay for it?
@@mauriceevans6546 I own a G6 sr22 and a TBM is my next aircraft makes a cirrus look like a Camry.. 1.3m is a lot for a single engine piston.. Comeback when you have your license and a few hours under your belt
$1.25 million now. Same plane it was last year and the year before and before just has touch screens now. The turbo cruises at 180ktas. Good product, but $1.25 million? Do not be fooled by the silly base price. You do not get de-icing, AC and other goodies deemed basic if you are going to spend a million on a piston single plane.
@@PILOTCIRRUSASIA Good catch, didn't notice that but not surprised. For the past five years everything they change is cosmetic and yes, seems to take away useful load. Cirrus is a great product, I had an SR22T for 6 years. But I wanted more aircraft and speed and less creature comfort, flash and the ability to change the prop pitch myself. So I had a Velocity Xl built.
@@speedomars nice .. flew my sr22 back from Thailand solo yesterday had a lot of time to think and just love my perspective+ 700hrs flying it and just works how I need it .. I'm sure the new screens look amazing but I just wouldn't use half the features ..push button start doesn't help hot starts it's all just cosmetic even covering the fuel lever just feels like someone's putting motorbike parts on a pushbike to pretend it's a one... it's shame they didn't release the sr10 in the US make cirrus in reach to more with a cheaper model and a step towards the sr20/22 instead aim at transitioning to the jet .. also no attempt at future proofing the engine like pipistrel and diamond are ..
Love the channel

Do you fly passangers or what do you do?
Passengers!

Or what can I buy that has better range payload etc. 1.3mil is a lot for a single engine prop
@cirruspilotasiaN108CP yes it is! The same reason some buy a porche instead of a camry. Preference. All comes down to money!

Payload is lower also nobody mentions .. I rather be able to take 4 people in mine than have Taxi GPS and new cupholders ..
