Long before some of the garbage rap and RnB that has flooded the mainstream and pop culture, I was being entertained by Kenny Lattimore, Donnel Jones, Common Sense, Slum Village, Dwele, Phonte, Little brother, Maxwell, JE, 112 etc etc etc... I find myself going back further nowadays to find that good sound. Groups like the Gap band, the whispers, Delgation etc... Has helped fill the void while a bunch of garbage has been created in recent years. Thank you Kenny for sharing your talent, for bringing beautiful music that makes me feel happy and takes me back to when music was good. (Yep, I must be getting old). I love the sound, the vocals remain incredible, and I remain inspired. Thank you.

I, personally, try not to see it as 'black' or 'white' music. It's music. For all we know 'black' tunes may have been written by 'white' writers etc. Colour need not feature. :)
