Could you go over your black history month\ women month books? I would love to see what ideas you have since I find you to be a great resource for Social Justice Teachings. My ESL Middle School students would LOVE that!

I teach history, but we talk a little bit about Shakespeare in my unit over the Renaissance. By the time we get to that Unit in my class, they've already completed or are in the middle of their Shakespeare units in their English classes. This week, I had two different students complain about Shakespeare to me.
Student quote 1: "We were reading Romeo and Juliet in my English class, and those people were doing the most! Like, bruh, just move on! Why was Shakespeare so extra?"
Student quote 2: "I feel like Shakespeare fans are the Star Wars fans of the literary world."
    😂

    Hi Marie,
I just loved the way you explain things.
    Great job dear.
I saw a couple of ur videos and really loved them.
And I now being inspired by you.
Pls help me in one thing.
I have seen that many TPT sellers / authors make exercise worksheet based on certain books of other authors.
In such cases, Do they have to take any written permission of the original author.
    For example :
If I want to create a worksheet based on the book, say, "To kill a Mockingird".
Am I allowed to do so ?
Or will it lead to Violation of Intellectual rights / Copyright ?
Do I have to take a written permission of the author of that book, before making any such resource ?

That is a great question. I hope to get the answer to that as well.

She meant 2020. After a crazy year, it seems like that long.
