That family might have big plots of lands and maybe have some agriculture going on growing different types of foods. And above all even though they mighty be poor, they have rich hearts and that's what we are missing nowdags

Beautiful country. The people seem to be rich in hospitality. Thank God for decent people everywhere. That family’s hospitality was truly heartwarming.

The generosity, kindness and warmness showed to a either someone from Europe or America is on highest level in Africa.I bet if it was an African there would be indifferent, unkind and unfriedly to him
I don't know where you're from, but here in Rwanda any African is like a local citizen in everything, whereas Westerners pay for everything. Moreover, you will never see an African venturing in Africa like Westerners. You must be from a different planet.
Your Swahili has really improved. You will be a Swahili guru when you are done with Tanzania because of it's vastness. You could have left some little money to those people who gave you shelter. Congrats from Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Yves the smiles and laughter in the children is absolutely the best thing. Am sure the memory will last for a long time. Maybe you may have trained a future athlete 😊. Keep going enjoying every bit of the videos
In his comments about Kigali I don’t think he meant any ill will and he said it reminds him of Northern Europe ( all developed countries) in his previous video. As an East African I believe Rwanda is great example for all other Africans who are still in civil wars and tribalism. Rwandans have come along way and we should be proud of them. Congratulations to our Rwandan people!❤️ Your country is beautiful and it’s one of the top 3 countries I have in my travel list God willing (Namibia, Madagascar and Rwanda)
Yves, thank you for your amazing videos. I found your channel since video 25 and have been a subscriber since then. Needless to say that I have watched all your videos more than once. Please ignore the negative comments, most people might watch one of your TH-cam videos for about 5 minutes and suddenly they have got an opinion without understanding who you are, what you have been through, how much you are doing for promoting Africa and breaking preconceptions. I am sending this small support to enjoy couple of meals on me. Thank you for sharing this great adventure of yours. Your work is very much loved from many of us that we have subscribed to your channel and have been following this incredible journey of yours for two and a half years now. Keep it going. The Rwanda authorities are extremely sensitive to any form of criticism for a reason known to themselves. They thrive on PR n use massive resources to hire bots for that purpose.Majority of these negative comments are from hired govt operatives. They only want anyone who says positive coverage about them but never entertain any form of criticism

"Yves, it's crucial to acknowledge the generosity of those who provided you with accommodation. Taking a moment to express gratitude can strengthen relationships and show your professionalism and respect for their kindness." Remember to show appreciation, even with small acts, next time."

I love it, it’s so clarifying and obvious. You get to a place, you’re welcomed like a lost friend, by the Business People, then they want to know all and do some marketing story, give you a nice care/place to stay, and when you go - none of the business, marketing, fan-club are around, you leave alone like any other anonymous person. Humans, sure. It’s business, but short-sighted business, obviously. I don’t expect much, but you can see, simpler house-stays are as friendly and caring saying goodbye as they are welcoming and treating you while you stay. No show, just humble natural familiar care. Wonderful how the family have taken you into their protection in their home and the kids with their school books wet from rain. A simple life, but warm with love.
It's not everyone that could get touched by that poor family, thanks Yves for letting the world know that in Africa, there is extreme poverty going on , yet our Governments when you try to mention or talk about such things, you become an enemy of everyone regardless of the African state. Bless you for that, Yve.
Thank you God, For giving your people a roof over their heads, heads that will surely change their future, kindness and love that will never change!! Thank you Yves for showing us and sharing your feelings!!
Dont forget what france did to us as rwandan during the genocide aginst tutsi in 1994. we still remember and now you're enjoying the beauty of 1000hills. Fyi: please edit your title.
Who are you guys to impose a "must" on what he should have written if he wrote anything , he is trying to give his point of view. If you are against that create your own channels and put a different story. He just was trying to compare the humanity in poor places compared to the big cities which is why he pointed out Kigali as a place he never received such kindness, which is totally true. Instead you should feel ashamed of City people that don't welcome people with a great heart just like village people instead bringing your negativity here
I Don't Know If There are worst places in Europe but for sure other African countries I saw here in the vlogs are much more poor. Rwanda is luxurious and Beautiful I love this country
The title says "place" not "country". GDP per capita of Rwanda: $1,000. Kigali is as developed as Europe. European countries have GDPs per capita going from $20,000 to $100,000. If there are that many people with that much money in Kigali, and yet Rwanda has such a low GDP per capita, do you really think that people in the countryside have any money??? No, most likely, they have almost nothing, that's why I mentioned place and not country.
Rwandese should be proud of their country such a beautiful country I will defenetly visit one day. I just love how that trickle is bringing happiness to Rwandese you should be proud Yves. Félicitation pour le montage excellent
Yves you're right 👍 the way these kids in the hard situation use to do their homework, it's amazing and one day when they are big famous or some people important in the society none can understand how they struggled to get out of it all. I learn everyday from different types of people in their lives. Stay safe and if you're touched sometimes it's better to give them hand and say courage ❤ we all are humans and togetherness is the power
Thanks you very much for posting your adventures in bicycling in Africa. It’s is beautiful. You are fun and friendly. It reminds me of the landscapes in Nicaragua.

You just didn't stay long to experience all that. Hope you'll come back another day and stay long enough to enjoy more. Safari njema!
Wonderful progress Mr Yves we in Kenya continue to follow your travels

Oh my God I am simply speechless, this people are true kind people, I don't care about the money but we need more people around like this angels😍
Brother Yves that's a true experience now you know what local truly is but don't blame the country it has been 30 years from the tragedy it faced so give it time all will work out 🇷🇼👌💯❤️
I agree
Thank u yves for passing through my country its been 8 years not coming home , but your video made me miss my people thank u ❤❤❤and be safe ❤ give me like if u miss home 🥰 The title is not GooD Though 🙏
Hope you will be there soon.
The family in the mad houses, may Almighty God remember them for their kindness. Proudly African !!
Esas personas que te brindaron su ayuda fueron muy nobles. Creo que merecían una ayuda de tu corazón. Y dejará un hermoso recuerdo.
Congratulations to our Rwandan people!❤️
Your country is beautiful and it’s one of the top 3 countries I have in my travel list God willing (Namibia, Madagascar and Rwanda)
Be safe and stay strong my friend. 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷❤️❤️🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
Thank you for your very kind comment and for your help. It's good to hear from someone who understands what I am doing, especially in the middle of a big hate wave. Thank you very much !

Yes Yves that was very touching.

Yves, I know that must have been miserable but this was one of my favorite videos of you. The ups and downs of life.
It was hard, but this day was one of the most memorable days I had on this journey. And it's a day that made me really love Rwandan countryside.

"Yves, it's crucial to acknowledge the generosity of those who provided you with accommodation. Taking a moment to express gratitude can strengthen relationships and show your professionalism and respect for their kindness." Remember to show appreciation, even with small acts, next time."
i dont know if he did so off the camera, but did u see he tipped in the resto a bit far from that home😁
He’s there for TH-cam money ONLY. Couldn’t care less about the people or the country; hence the defaming title.
The people invited Yves to their house, you wanted him to exchange generosity for money? That is silly. Is everything all about money? What has become of humanity. If you offer help expecting a reward ...🤔
Thank you Yves for showing me the whole East Africa in a different perspective. I literally watched every video you have posted.
So proud of my people 👍Keep up humanity and love for all human kind that’s true wealth 💪🏼💪🏼🙌🙌🙏🏾🙏🏾

Someone here to help that family from the video to build the new house for them?uyu muryango ugomba kubakirwa,

My Dear Yves, Have a nice journey 😊😊😊😊.
Welcome back in Rwanda
A simple life, but warm with love.
very kind family, I'm touched, may God bless them. i would have given them a token of appreciation. from Kenya. Rwanda people are rich
Ohh Beautiful Rwanda our country. Land of hills, lakes and volcanoes. Be blessed our motherlanda. ❤❤❤🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼
It's not everyone that could get touched by that poor family, thanks Yves for letting the world know that in Africa, there is extreme poverty going on , yet our Governments when you try to mention or talk about such things, you become an enemy of everyone regardless of the African state. Bless you for that, Yve.
NICE VIDEO - NICE COUNTRY - NICE PEOPLE ! Thank you.
Thank you God,
For giving your people a roof over their heads, heads that will surely change their future, kindness and love that will never change!!
Thank you Yves for showing us and sharing your feelings!!
AWESOME. WATCHING THIS VLOG GAVE ME JOY. ALL THE HELLOS AND SMILES! Pure human interaction.
Dont forget what france did to us as rwandan during the genocide aginst tutsi in 1994.
we still remember and now you're enjoying the beauty of 1000hills. Fyi: please edit your title.
Exactly he must change the title
Who are you guys to impose a "must" on what he should have written if he wrote anything , he is trying to give his point of view. If you are against that create your own channels and put a different story. He just was trying to compare the humanity in poor places compared to the big cities which is why he pointed out Kigali as a place he never received such kindness, which is totally true.
Instead you should feel ashamed of City people that don't welcome people with a great heart just like village people instead bringing your negativity here
Your title does injustice to the whole country. Rwanda is not the poorest place on earth, there are worst places than this in Europe.
Right,We have many poorest people in the countryside
But all are about our history
It's not our choice of being poor
@@KinoYves pour moi $1000 c'est beaucoup

Such a wonderful place
According to him, it’s the poorest place on earth. Beautiful?
Yves you're right 👍 the way these kids in the hard situation use to do their homework, it's amazing and one day when they are big famous or some people important in the society none can understand how they struggled to get out of it all. I learn everyday from different types of people in their lives. Stay safe and if you're touched sometimes it's better to give them hand and say courage ❤ we all are humans and togetherness is the power
Thanks you very much for posting your adventures in bicycling in Africa. It’s is beautiful. You are fun and friendly. It reminds me of the landscapes in Nicaragua.
27:50 don't be scared. Most of these are for chopping wood and cutting fresh branches for food or medicine.
😂😂😂
What do people define as poor? Materialism is not poverty but people’s mindset. These people are rich in heart than many people whom I have met in the west.
not in the world we are living in
I wonder if he meant the little house where the kids were studying ?
lol when you struggle to bring food on the table daily you are indeed poor.
The generosity of a poor person ends in their heart.
Kikuyu tribe of Kenya word of wisdom
lol!! you seems to live in hallucinations!!!! Money defines richness whether you like it or not!
I was worried when you used to say "Habari" in Rwanda. Now "Muraho" is understood by everyone there.
We are used to both, you don't need to worry
Even habari is very common in Rwanda! People always reply Muzuri😂😂
