Actually what people dont know is people in the cities are even poorly than those in the village. That family might have big plots of lands and maybe have some agriculture going on growing different types of foods. And above all even though they mighty be poor, they have rich hearts and that's what we are missing nowdags

26:27 he said "I was poorly welcomed by the rich people of kigali and welcomed by such great humanity by people who have nothing" and I felt it so much because it is very deep!
Rwanda has came almost from nothing to something.
From hopeless to hopeful, from adversity to progress, Rwanda has undergone a remarkable transformation. The nation has overcome immense challenges to emerge as a beacon of resilience, reconciliation, and hope for the future.
This transformation has been fueled by the collective efforts of the Rwandan people, as well as visionary leadership and a commitment to reconciliation, peace, and development. From the devastation of the 1994 genocide to the steady progress and economic growth witnessed in recent years, Rwanda's journey serves as a testament to the power of resilience, unity, and determination.
Today, Rwanda stands as a testament to what can be achieved when a nation comes together to rebuild and forge a brighter future.
Anywhere in the country "Rwandans have hope, love, kindness, courage and GOD🫡"

The family home's electricity, the condition of the roads(Very good roads), and their willingness to provide for you as a stranger all astound me. And most importantly, the children completing their school assignments.(the future generation is being educated).

Just like this family welcomed you in their house, this was the case for travelers in the ancient times before the colonial era. Everyone could travel for days or even months, and at night, s/he could sleep at any closest house. The family receiving him/her had to give him/her a place to sleep, provide meals and drinks for free, share news, and make sure that s/he is at ease. Rwanda is lovely, welcoming, safe and developing. You just didn't stay long to experience all that. Hope you'll come back another day and stay long enough to enjoy more. Safari njema!

I love it, it’s so clarifying and obvious. You get to a place, you’re welcomed like a lost friend, by the Business People, then they want to know all and do some marketing story, give you a nice care/place to stay, and when you go - none of the business, marketing, fan-club are around, you leave alone like any other anonymous person. Humans, sure. It’s business, but short-sighted business, obviously. I don’t expect much, but you can see, simpler house-stays are as friendly and caring saying goodbye as they are welcoming and treating you while you stay. No show, just humble natural familiar care.
Wonderful how the family have taken you into their protection in their home and the kids with their school books wet from rain. A simple life, but warm with love.

If you are against that create your own channels and put a different story. Kigali is as developed as Europe.
European countries have GDPs per capita going from $20,000 to $100,000.
If there are that many people with that much money in Kigali, and yet Rwanda has such a low GDP per capita, do you really think that people in the countryside have any money???
