if seen a similar one to this where the alien pov of the whole story was how he lost weight being on earth becuase everything humans consumed was poison.
Wait until he here’s about the sweet we give to kids. A mix of acid and addictive substances brightly coloured to appeal to our young. I still love my sour patch kids sweets.
There's a lot of frosting out there that does not contain milk. People who are lactose intolerant cannot handle things like cheese or other products which contain milk due to the inability to break down the sugar lactose. I had a roommate once who loved ice cream but was lactose intolerant. I'm really glad there was two bathrooms in that apartment
Actually 35% of the adult population on Earth can digest milk. Most of them are from colder climates, where milk was initially seen as a famine food, especially for the children. I can easily see how that need would become established as a normal food for the growing children into adulthood. They were never weaned off milk, so didn't lose the enzymes needed to digest it. I personally drink about a pint a day (nit sure what that is in ml's.)
If the Commander was smart, He would see this as a nice little side hustle for Himself (maybe Hector) by collecting all the Eggs, Milk and maybe even Manure to sell/trade with local Human Settlements/Ships, all under the guise of keeping the place sanitary. But I guess that's just my Human way of thinking.
I think their lucky that Hector wasn't a murderer. He could have ended up make a grill and slapping one of the cow xenos on to it.
Poor Hector! All the inmates look like food to him!

Needs garlic!!😂
It's funny that in the story says people can't digest milk, how about milk products such as cheese? Cake frosting has milk right?

humans actually owe alot to the fact that we can eat alot of stuff that would kill most other animals
I don't know if I was part of an avian species and some guy was going around eating eggs I think I would be concerned

It is true that a very small % of humans can digest milk. It’s rare to fine a human that can.

As i said very rare to find someone that can digest milk. Most kids can but when they hit adulthood they become lactose intolerant.
