Renewable Hydrogen Summit 2024 - Opening statement by President Ursula von der Leyen

Following welcome remarks to summit attendees from the Managing Director of the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition, François Paquet, the summit opened with a statement from President von der Leyen.
In her opening statement, President von der Leyen spoke about the pivotal role of renewable hydrogen in driving deep decarbonisation, achieving strategic industrial autonomy and securing Europe's energy future.
