1. During his reign, Datu Dakula ibnu Sultan Abdul Hakkul Mubin came to Brunei to defend his father but was settled by his brother, 'Pengiran Bendahara' Pengiran Muda Amir ibnu Sultan Abdul Hakkul Mubin'.
2. During his reign, Sultan Muhyiddin (it is said) had asked the Sultan of Sulu to help him in defeating the rebels on the island of Chermin, and handed over eastern Sabah to the Sultan of Sulu. (The (Government) of Brunei denies this until now). He died in 1690. His Majesty is known as Marhum Bungsu.
3. Pehin Orang Kaya Besar Imas
Pehin Orang Kaya Besar Imas is one of the famous Kedayan individuals in the history of the Sultanate of Brunei. He is the head of all Ministers of Economy and comes from Kampung Subok, Brunei. He is the grandson of Sultan Saiful Rijal through his father Orang Kaya Kassim. Orang Kaya Kassim is busy as a Kedayan and lives in Jerudong. Sultan Muhammad Hassan once offered the title of Cheteria, Prince Prince to the Rich Kassim, but he refused it on the grounds that he grew up as a Kedayan. Pehin Orang Kaya Besar Imas has a brother named Putera Temenggong Sahibul Bahar Rajid.

History of the British East India Company.
...William Clark Cowie was the person who played a role in how Sultan Jamal-ul Azam was recognized as a lessee. Could there be a story behind it?....
1. The company was founded along similar lines as the British East India Company. German businessman and diplomat Baron von Overbeck, along with the heads of a British trading company in Shanghai and London, Alifred Dent and Edward Dent, together met with the thalassocratic rulers of the northern Borneo
area to obtain a concession for their colonial interests. The governor of Labuan, a British colonial island off Brunei, accompanied the negotiations.
2.On 29 December 1877, they met Abdul Momin, Sultan of Brunei. The Sultan agreed to make the concession for 15,000 Spanish dollars. However, since it turned out that (according to the Sultan of Sulu's version of the story) the Sultan of Brunei had already ceded some areas to the Sultan of Sulu, further negotiations were Board of directors of the company needed.
3. With the assistance of William Clark Cowie, a Scottish adventurer and friend of Sultan Jamal-ul Azam of Sulu, the Sultan signed a concession treaty on 22 January 1878 and received 5,000 Spanish dollars. Following the successful concessions, Overbeck and the Dent brothers became the rulers of an area in northern Borneo.
4.Overbeck withdrew in 1879 after failing to attract the interest of his country, leaving Alfred Dent to manage the territory. Dent then planned to register a company to represent the British but since a considerably delay seemed likely, he decided to found a provisional company first. In 1881, the British North Borneo Provisional Association Limited was founded with registered capital of £300,000. The directors were Dent himself together with Rutherford Alcock, Richard Biddulph Martin, Admiral Richard Mayne and William Henry Read. The charter contract for a company with a capital of two million pounds was sealed on 1 November 1881.
5. The provisional company was thus dissolved and the following year, a chartered company was established with a first settlement on Gaya
Island.The settlement however was burnt down during a raid by a local leader named Mat Salleh and was never re-established. Due to
such resistance, establishing law and order as well as recruiting Sikh policemen from northern India became one of the company's earlies
priorities, along with expanding trade; instituting a government, courts, and penal system, building a railway line from Jesselton to Tenom;
and encouraging the harvesting and barter trade of local crops, as well as establishment of plantations.The company also faced some
resistance to its economic modernisations and tax policies. no.

Perjanjian itu[kalaupun ada!]bukan dibuat oleh Sultan Sulu dengan Rakyat Sabah, tetapi, kepada pihak Kerajaan British, Alfred Dent. Jadi, Sultan Sulu berdepanlah dengan Kerajaan British.
Rakyat Sabah sudahpun merdeka melalui pungutan suara Cobbolt dan dimaterai perjanjian itu pada tahun 1963 melalui pembentukan negara Malaysia!
Wrong…that agreement stayed since 1878. They have the historical rights to Sabah…even after 1963’s malaysian independence your government continues to pay the Sultanate of Sulu for 5300RM and they have receipts to prove that, only in 2013 that Malaysia stopped paying after the Lahad Datu invasion thus the Sultanate of Sulu went to arbitration and won for $14.9M this is the computation for back payment including inflation. Your government don’t have a choice already but to pay this amount cause the case filed is a Proprietary Case between malaysia and the Sulu Sultanate or they will start garnishing properties own by your government…if they will ignore this and fight for this for sure they will be laughing stock of the whole world cause Malaysia is a signatory for international arbitration signed by 170 countries.

So you have to accept that Sabah is owned by the Sultanate of Sulu and Sulu Sultanate are Filipinos thus the PH own Sabah. Very simple right?

Yes. If you believe otherwise, then go explain yourself/yourselves to the international court of arbitration.
There is no point of discussing evidence here. You can claim one thing, I can claim another thing. We will only argue without end and we can never prove the authenticity of each other’s claim much more the admissibility of evidence we are each talking about. We cannot subject ourselves to cross examination here.
The best way to go is to find out the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth before a legitimate court of arbitration. Where there rule of law prevails.
The sultan of Brunei gave sabah, and Palawan at more or less the same time.
Yes, of course we have proof. We won’t be claiming something out of thin air. Because we are so confident that we have proof, we are willing to face the brightest, and most intelligent lawyers you guys have in Malaysia in any court as long as it is not the Malaysia Supreme Court… we can face anyone from Malaysia in any international court… that is how confident we are.
Now, my question is, if you have proof that sabah is yours… then why is your government doing everything it possibly can to evade facing the Philippines in any international court.
Look, if you aren’t delusional, the fact is, Malaysia now is in panic mode, why? Because the international court of arbitration has frozen your state owned assets in Luxembourg. And many more to come in the near future.. why do you think that is? Intelligent people would assume that the Philippines was able to prove that it is the sultan of sulu who owns it…
I think the burden of proving otherwise rests on your end now.
The sultan of sulu has proven to the whole world that is owns sabah… and not Malaysia. Unless, Malaysians will say that the international court of arbitration is corrupt and they decided the case with the sultan of sulu not any presenting evidence. 😅😂🤣
Obviously, the sultan has EVIDENCE… otherwise, Malaysia won’t be panicking and fighting each other in Dewan parliamentary hall.
Now, we ask you, do you have evidence that sabah properly belongs to Malaysia? If you do.. or at least think that you do… then convince your government to not be afraid of facing the sultan of sulu and the Philippines in any international court of arbitration.
Your problem is, your government is too scared to do that… because they know .. they very well know that the lies they fed to their people will not stand in any logical, critical, fair, and just court of law.
So don’t make it your business to know whether or not we, have evidence… worry about yourself.
Remember, You should not rely on the weakness of the defense, but of the strength of your own evidence.
