"You will always be a part of me" - wow I hear this song every time it is National Day. The songs of the yesteryears were way much better than today's. Kaira is a gem and she sang this song with emotion. Love it.
Those days when ndp songs sound melodious and really meaningful
I was there as a South Korean representative for the international physics olympiad 2006. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the streets and advanced facilities of NTU. The food was amazing too. The memory of this song still moves my heart. Singaporeans are one of the smartest and most hard-working peoples in the world. I am proud that Marina Bay Sands was built by a Korean company. My best wishes from South Korea.

I was in Singapore the week before the national day. This song and other celebrations were everywhere, including military practises. Good to see a country proud of itself like this

Excellent diction there. Pity I didn't know it very well when it was the theme song for the year. I realised how crucial Primary school music teachers are in ensuring we know the theme songs every year.
I really miss Singapore, I want to see all my relatives again, none the less i still love Singapore, but I really miss her. :(

This is still the best of all NDP songs.
This is better than the other Singapore patriot songs I've seen on youtube. It's a lot less cheesy, shows the diversity well, and concentrates a lot on the mix of ancient and technologically advanced. That's really Singapore.
I bet this was the best Singaoore national song to all people so far.

awskwang they probably thought adding the animations at 2:20 made the video look more futuristic lol. Now coming to think about the animation doesn’t look futuristic. I mean the future should be wireless.

excellent video. the video footages in this one are probably the best among all the other NDP videos we had so far. Lyrics are extremely meaningful and touching. Doesn't feel so corny like the rest of the national songs. I truly feel Singaporean listening to this!
