I was depressed, my father is dying and I'm stressed, finals all week. I watched death and raman with Bob and it was the strangest comfort, and I felt way better. Thank you guys for helping us all.
The woman singing is in the wrong, no question. If it were an open public space, no issue. In an enclosed airplane where everyone has paid for a ticket, and no one can choose to leave that is highly disrespectful. The flight attendent was polite at first but his behavior is not the issue because he is doing his job and is trying to keep passengers comfortable, calm and modedately quiet out of mutual respect to everyone.
As soon as Andrew said "this is fake" or that at least part of it was fake, I literally said out loud "THANK YOU!" and then came to these comments to see that people believe this just organically occurred on a flight?? Like be for fckn real!! I would be embarrassed for anyone who decided to take a time of stress for most people and start shamelessly plugging my "fame" and then breaking out into song. And then immediately following my embarrassment for her, I'd be furious that I was about to be stuck on a flight with this type of spotlight seeking individual.
