This one was quickely done (2 h) and went very close to the garbage in the end to be honest, but.. I don't know (yes.. sometime I really don't !) , maybe it's stll a little bit entertaining ? The occasion for me to say thank you to all of you for your wonderful messages of support here everyday !
You are way to strict to yourself this and all other compositions of yours are amazing! It might take another year or so but eventually your absolutly amazing work will get the recognition it deserves. In my opinion your the next two steps from hell honestly even better
An awesome book. He would have loved your music. In return, I offer you a book to read: "The Art of Happiness" by the Dalai Lama. I know that music can be a 'one size fits all'. Every one of us understands music and responds to it. But does this happen with books? I have read thousands of books. I own thousands of books. This is about the only one in which an author uses words - very, very risky to use words(!), always subject to interpretation - and actually wrote a book with wisdom and statements that are as close to 'one size fits all' as is humanly possible. Endless beauty of thought and mind. Like your music.
Hi, Phil, have a wonderful Easter with your family...don't leave your fans without your music...we are thirsty an hungry about it. God bless you and your family. Marco
You had no reason to hesitate...a beautiful song was already making its way from your brain to your hands so it can be written down. Intro is a bit long, the piece is magnificent. Thank you for your music.
Nautilus : Mollusque céphalopode, à coquille en spirale, d'un type extrêmement ancien, Cephalopod mollusk, with spiral shell, of an extremely ancient type. Wow, we're going back to very, very old realms. Thank you for the word Nautilus which allowed me to learn. Excellent deep, intense, powerful, explosive, grandiose and beautiful music :))Wonderful epic music... Grandiose, with great spirals we go back in time, I really like your title in osmosis with your choice of image. Sublime stunning composition of lyricism, majesty, stoic, melodious, and harmonious. Thank you very much for sharing. Bravo & Merci
DEDICATED TO PHIL, OUR CAPTAIN NEMO, ● THE POWER OF THE SWORD - PART FOUR. " ahead of her, above the altar was the mighty Stormbringer ; its steel blade was glittering, struck by a ray of sun. " may i ask you who you are and where do you come from, my lady? ". "My name is Deana", replied the woman, " and i come from a place that you cannot imagine. So i won't tell you". " how could you get into this sacred place ?", resumed Aldwyn. " because i'm a sorceress, but i'm a blessed being too : for this reason i was allowed to enter and, believe it or not, you have been blessed too, that's why you were able to enter. Now you're standing before your father's sword". " Deana's mesmerizing eyes stared intently at him. "You think you're able to receive this great gift ?". " i still don't know, my lady. My heart says yes, my mind says no", Aldwyn replied humbly. " YOU SHOULD CLAIM YOUR POWER", said the sorceress, with a tone of reproach. " the same words of that evil witch !", the king said, stepping back in amazement. " it was you, you were the witch !", exclaimed with wide eyes. " yes, it was me", Deana replied, staring intentely at him. " why didn't you manifest yourself to me in your true form ?", Aldwyn asked. " i didn' want to and i didn't have to", said Deana. " i had to make your fear materialize, that you seek to exorcise it. Introducing myself to you as you see me now wouldn't have made this possible : yours is a path of redemption. Now I offer you Stormbringer.". Deana reverently touched the sword, who glinted in the light of the sun. Aldwyn watched : his heart pounded faster in his chest. The sword now rested on the pale palms of the sorceress, who stretched out her arms forward. " take it, king Aldwyn, take your father's sword". Aldwyn approached to the altar and hesitantly took hold of it : suddenly felt an excruciating, unbearable pain in every fibre of his body. He dropped Stormbringer to the ground and fell on to his knees screaming with wide eyes. Was desperately trying to tear off his armor, to take off the helmet. In a few moments he relived every single moment of his life and, above all, that cursed day in which he fled from the battlefield. " breathe, my love, breathe deeply, now i can't help you", thought Deana like she wants to convey courage to her warrior, who was suffering as no man had never suffered in his life. " breathe, my love, let the poison flow out of your body, out of your heart. Hold on !". Slowly the pain began to subside until it ceased completely. Aldwyn was on his knees, with the head bowed and the hands on the ground. Deana's fleshy red lips parted in a sweet smile. ■ END OF PART FOUR : to be continued - Thanks forever Phil. God bless you and your family. Marco
My beloved Marco, YOU AMAZE me with thIs story. Part 4 is very captivating and intriguing. I LOVE every part of it! Thank you for this beautiful dedication. You are truly blessed ❤😺😁🙏😘
DEDICATED TO PHIL REY AND HIS FAMILY ( have a happy Easter ! ). ● THE POWER OF THE SWORD - PART FIVE. " Aldwyn slowly stood up : he still felt schocked by that terrible experience. " you have succeded, king. Now the ghosts of your past will no longer haunt you. now you are a true king, ready to fight for his kingdom, for his people. Now you are redeemed", said Deana." Now wield Stormbringer again". Aldwyn grasped his father's sword firmly : he felt a force never felt before flowing from his left hand along the arms to his heart. " come on, now, your knights are waiting for you", said the beautiful sorceress. They walked side by side along the long central nave; she walked with such lightness that her feet seemed no touch the ground. They went out if the cathedral into the open, illuminated by the sun. Aldwin mounted on the saddle of his mare. " will i see you again, Deana ?". Asked the sorceress. He feared her reply. "No, Aldwyn, i won't leave you alone", replied, ". At her beckoning a wonderful white horse without saddle came out from the edge of the wood and meekly approached Deana, who caressed his muzzle. She went on its back. "I'm coming to fight with you". " you must not", said the king, " Hell will break loose on the battlefield soon: it would be dangerous for you, for a woman". " i'm a woman, but i told you i'm a sorceress too. You will need my powers", Deana replied with a reproachful tone. " but, my lady...".Aldwyn resumed. She stopped him with a wave of her hand. " i'll go with you". "So it be", said the king. They headed for the battlefield, riding side by side. "He's a wonderful horse", Aldwyn told her. " what's his name ?", i called him Aldwyn", Deana said laughing. " i don't know wheter to feel honored or offended", said him. "Why take offense ?", replied the sorceress, " it's a beautiful name for a horse, i like it very much". " then i'm honored" replied the king smiling. For long moments they said nothing : they looked at each other; Aldwyn could not understand what Deana was thinking, while had the impression that she was reading inside him as he were an open book, with her wonderful searching gaze and her dazzling smile. They finally reached the place where that decisive battle would soon break out. Aldwyn took his place at the head of his knights : the black flag with the rampant golden lion floated in the wind. " can you do me the honor of fighting on my right ?", he asked the sorceress. " oh, sure", laughed Deana , " it doesn't happen every day to fight alongside a real king", said looking at him slyly. " there are many coward kings, but you are not among them". Before the king's cavalry was arrayed the great army of the Evil one, which overwhelmed them in number. Aldwyn drew Stormbringer : " trumpeter", ordered " sound the charge !".
My goodness, my BELOVED MARCO, I adore this story. It is truly Beautiful. I love it! The king and the Knight, the Sorceress and the lady, beautiful masterpiece. Thank you so much!!!💟
Hey Phil I was hoping it would be alright for me to use your music for a D&D Campaign I am going to be posting on youtube. I saw on your channel that some of the music can't be used for things like that due to others owning the music, so could we have a list of songs that you'd advise we not use? And would it be alright if I used your music for my videos as they get posted?
● THE POWER OF THE SWORD PART SIX. " The two armies were advancing rapidly towards each other : the archers of the Evil one's army were reaping victims upon victims in the army of light. The two squadrons of Aldwyn's cavalry collided head-on with the enemy hosts : the impact was devastating. The knights penetrated deep into the front lines of enemy infantry, which left hundreds of dead on the ground. The Evil one, on his infernal white horse, lined up in the center of his troops, was getting closer and closer : Aldwyn, holding firmly in the hand his lethal Stormbringer, could make out more and more clearly the details of his splendid shining armor. The Evil one threw his squadrons of heavy cavalry into the fray, in order to hit the light cavalry of the young king in the flanks. Deana, galloping on her agile white steed was devastating : with her sorceresses's powers opened wide gaps in the enemy ranks, studded with blinding lightnings, silver fireballs, gusts of unstoppable winds. Suddenly she sensed the mortal danger, the trap into which Aldwyn and his knights were about to fall. She directed her deadly powers against the left wing of the cavalry of evil, smashing it. So Aldwyn, making a quick conversion, collided head-on with the enemy's right wing. Despite the numerical inferiority, the light cavalry's knights were more agile, and managed to slip between the knights of the Evil one, embarassed by their heavy armors. The valiant Relaer, Aldwyn's lieutenant, managed to snatch the green flag with the golden chimera from the hand of the standard bearer of the Evil one as a trophy. In a short time the few survivors had to whitdraw. Slowly but surely the army of evil was forced to retreat, until the Evil one realized that the battle was lost and ordered a general retreat. ■ THANKS FOREVER, PHIL, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
