Keyboards at the end just sound wrong without that classic Hammond sound, JJ may have the rights and the name but it's not the Stranglers really, certainly not the band I saw in the 70's.
The Stranglers stopped using a Hammond organ in 1983, apparently a nightmare to take on tour, very heavy, easily damaged and internal electrical components constantly need replaced. They weren't designed to take on tour but Dave Greenfield kept it going until synths could mimic the sound. I agree it's not the same but it's essentially how it's sounded since 1983.
