    Disclaimer: The footage of the completed dragon around the pillar is so fuzzy because my go pro had been filming so much in the past few days that the battery and lens started to burn out from over use. It made it though :D

    This is insane for me, I wouldn't fall on that job because of lack of patience and time! Great job. I wonder how long did it take you to fold it actually? Where do you want to keep this model - museum or maybe exibition?! Respect.

      Сергей Качуровский thank you so much!!!!!! It took 22 hours to fold which I did over the course of 6 days. I wish to shape it up a bit more and apply a better paint job before submitting it to a gallery!

      Wenbin Li HARDER??????? Its not egen close. Its not Even impressive compared to ruyin. It takes a lot less practice, paper, time, skills and even the western dragon is harder to fold. Have you even tried?

    • @OrigamiByBoice
      @OrigamiByBoice  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      preeti srivastava I do not recommend it unless you want to fold a dragon the size of this one. I would recommend you to glue paper together. Use a mixture of water and glue so it will soak the two papers together 😁

    • @preetisrivastava7061

  • @papercraneman

    Wow, i dont have patience yet to make paper that big. I always order big paper online at the origami shop because making big paper takes me usually an hour or more since i spend so much time trying to make a perfect square. Like if its one tenth of a centimeter not perfect square i throw it away after the hour i spent on it. I'm currently folding from Kamiya's book and precut paper is so convenient 😂

    • @OrigamiByBoice
      @OrigamiByBoice  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I understand! But you should try to get used to folding non perfect squares. It is a waste to throw it out and its not too hard to get used to adjusting folding when theres small mistakes! I think it is a good skill to learn to get better at origami

    • @papercraneman
      @papercraneman 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is true! I think I'll try to get used to folding imperfect squares. The bigger the paper, the less it will matter. Imperfections in origami are part of the beauty after all.

    There are certain things some ppl like and you are laughing hard at them because its so obviously bad, you cant do nothing but laugh at their lack of taste.
    Than, there are those rare instances when you dont laugh, because you feel bad, there are some things you dont laugh at. You dont laugh at someone with Down syndrome for how stupid they are.
    This is one of those instances.
    I'm talking about "music" in this video.

    • @OrigamiByBoice
      @OrigamiByBoice  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      igor svakurac Hi Igor! Im sorry about this and how it made you feel. I believe there is a miscommunication however. I dont think any of the songs are making fun of people with down syndrome nor talk about it. Please feel free to let me know when/which song you think is bad. I would never intentionally make fun of anyone ever. Im sure people who have followed me for awhile can reassure that. I believe there might be two places that you might have been confused by. The second Song has the song title “Settle Down” and the the lyrics sing a distorted “settle down”. Maybe you heard these words wrong? The other place I think might be the first Song “Old Days”. Perhaps you were confused about the accent used. It actually does not have anything to do with Down Syndrome, it is a style derived from 1980’s talkbox and slowed and pitched lyrics used in many many songs. I cant speak for the artists but I dont believe they intended any harm. Thank you for having a good heart for the community and I hope everything is just a misunderstanding.
      Best Regards,
      Boice

    Btw i just finished my first western dragon :D (still gotta shape it) honestly its time consuming but fun, i found it in general easier than the ancient dragon BUT a lot more confusing 😅

    • @speedytiles2132
      @speedytiles2132 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Id say the trickiest part were the hands, them alone took me a whole hour and even after looking up on yt, i was still scratching my head lmoao.The head wasnt too bad but i did step 157 - 176 completely wrong so i had to redo the whole thing which made it alot messier😂

      Honestly for a casual beginner folder like me im quite happy, 10 or so months ago i made my first proper fiery dragon (which still turned out bad) and could only ever dream of making the ancient dragon let alone the western dragon. But alas when i got access to better paper (gift wrapping paper) i felt brave enough to tackle the super complex models. As beforehand i only had access to 35cm kami

    • @OrigamiByBoice

      The confusing nature of the western dragon definitely adds to the difficulty! Im glad you found it a fun fold!

      Butcher Paper. Schools usually have big rolls of it for posters. It doesn't fold very well but I chose it because of its size and because it was free :)
