The Knights' Armoury, Valletta, Malta

A quick stroll through the armoury of the Knights of Malta in the Grand Master's Palace, Valletta on 2nd March 2024.
Look out for:
the Sallet helmet [00:29] dating from circa 1520 that may have seen action in the siege of Rhodes;
Part of a cannon bearing the coat of arms of Grand Master L'Isle-Adam, recovered from the Gozo channel seabed [00:38] and [00:54]
the sword-gun [02:22] and air gun [06:13];
Ottoman janissary weapons captured during the Great Siege of 1565 [04:46];
Grandmaster Wignacourt's richly and elaborately decorated suit of armour [06:20];
the rare leather cannon [06:29].
