Thats not how that works.
I'm pretty sure that's the collector rings, not the brushes. IIRC There's really bad electrical contact causing it to sound goofy
@@madisoncountysirens4295 maybe its brushes because in other video they test alert signal for a minute. when the thunderbolt active alert signal the chopper motor won't work in 30 sec. and then the chopper motor start growl and dies again. the thunderbolt was rotate at 8RPM

@@1000BT bad brushes, bad bearings, something messed up with the armature, or a bad combination of all of them
@@1000BT slip rings can't bend that easily, if they were, the chopper motor would barely even turn on. This is clearly a brush issue. Likely just caused by use throughout time.
