Number 1 piece of advice for those on Wildcard is make sure you have 11 players that you trust. By trust I mean, even if they blank once or twice in a row you’re not looking to kneejerk. People mention picks like Solanke, Ward/Iversen, Justin, Bowen, Watkins, Bailey, Eze, Guaita, but how many of them have proven reliability that will make you stand by them if they don’t return for a week or two. On the flip side, which players do you trust which will make you kneejerk if you don’t have them and they start returning? Players like TAA, Salah and Cancelo in particular come to mind as they are proven fpl assets, and the former two have the underlying numbers to back it up
@@adwaitkale315 In terms of points yes, but in terms of xG&A they’re in the top 3 for their positions. Nunez will start getting integrated, Jota is back, Thiago is back, so imo they’ll get back to their best soon and it’s a risk to miss out on that, especially with a potterless brighton next.
Safer to just get them gw12-13 and punt on other players with that cash. They have hard fixtures next couple of gw and the Brighton game will not be as easy as you mention.
@@ko7aka That’s fair enough, but then you’re booking in transfers and a reshape of the team. Getting in trent will be painful without straight swapping cancelo who has great fixtures from GW13-16, Salah will need money in the bank and additional transfers unless getting KDB/Son on Wildcard. Brighton should be a reasonable fixture, maybe not easy but Liverpool will be heavy favourites, whilst Arsenal haven’t played many top tier teams yet this season and could fold. City won’t be easy but if KDB is the alternative then it’ll be tough either way.
Top stuff as always Andy. James Maddison is class, and still will get you good returns regardless of how bad the team are doing overall. Definitely a better shout than Bowen, who looks like he’s spent a whole summer eating cream cakes. Arsenal - Saka looked a lot more confident at the weekend. He’d been very uncharacteristically hesitant up to then - worth keeping an eye on as Martinelli’s form cools down. I played my wildcard last week, with the view to bring Salah back in for GW9. Transition to 343 also undertaken - but will wait until after the international games to do my transfers. Knowing my luck, I’ll pick Toney and he’ll get injured in a 5 minute England cameo init
Chelsea fan here, i wouldn't double up on our Defence right now. I expect us to give up a goal in most matches until potter figures out his guys. James is a no brainer though, he's so dangerous on the attack always and he's as nailed as they come. Besides, i have a feeling potter may end up favoring kepa because he likes to play out of the back, and mendy struggles with his feet. I think sterling is a great choice if you can fit him in, but avoid Auba as there are leaks saying Pottter really likes Broja and he's bound to get some starts over Auba soon
one stat I noticed, Leics have played 5 of their 7 games against the current top 7 sides. and 4 of those were AWAY. so there is a bit of hope that they can show us a bit more in these games. as Andy rightly says, they have scored in 6 of those 7 games so far anyway, despite the difficulty.
Lucas Digne has picked up an injury and it looks like it's probably not just an international break injury - might not be someone to consider - just in case you were thinking about it!

I'm slightly hesitant on Leicester attackers tbh. I know they have good players but to be in the bottom 3 overall for xG, and in the supposed 'easy' games they created 0.5 xG against Brentford, and 0.2 xG against Southampton (both at home). I don't really understand what's wrong with them but nothing seems to be functioning in that Leicester side right now...
I know the fixtures are nice, but the thought of 2 of my attacking assets playing for a Leicester whose manager seems to be waiting to be sacked so he gets his payoff is just too big a risk. I think they will get worse before they get better, fixtures or no fixtures

No. Pope usually picks up bonus points for saves, he's usually worth 3 points even if he concedes, possibly more. Is ward really going to get a clean sheet? Also, save your bench boost for the double gws later in the season.
With no wildcard and 6 arsenal n City players I can't help but think a free hit to keep all 6 or 2 free hokey pokey to take in and out would be better 🤔
