They are not helping youths by arresting them they are making it difficult for them to earn a little money and as the young guy said European Countries are deporting them which is true. They are proud young guys who are not afraid to work hard to help support the families. The government are definitely making a bad situation there, they need to help and encourage people not make life twice as difficult.

The Government of The Gambia 🇬🇲 are tired of living in peace, they are brewing their own problems now by harassing their own citizens.

Every area is filthy. It's an issue that this government doesn't want to deal with. Banjul is disgusting, so how can anyone feel proud of their capital? A national embarrassment

Her poor people are the only reason he is still preserving it, but I think his patient is running out. THIS IS A COUNTY WERE GREED IS CELEBERATED BY THE MEN AND WOMEN WE GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE US .

Some Gambians wanted to be seen as victims .even if theyre breaking the laws.If you make asylum in Eroupe, and you get rejected whether u like it not they will send you out.Its not easy but development comes with its own price.Lets be brave enough to acept our mistake.you build these structures without permission.

IThis would add a great value to the task force team if we can also see men and women in Yellow and white or Red and black jackets be part of the task force who are technically employ to clean the streets by removing all the filts and waste lingering and plastering everywhere on the ground.,This operation needs the collaboration of various crews. And our reporters should be in Blue and white or Green and white Jackets. Every crew member should wear protective gear like helmets..While we are clearing the roads, we can also clean at the same time.
And when the dusk settles down and everything begins to look clear and clean environmentally, then we move into stage 2 which is landscaping and the planting of trees 🌳, placing green grass on street lawns and putting Plants alongside pavements and public places, the building of public seating areas for temporary resting place and the building of new and improved public structures while getting rid of the old ones to make our communities look more modern and environmentally friendly..Then set rules and regulations that can be enforce at all times with signs and warnings ⚠️ to alert the public that the consequences for violating these public orders is subjected to fines and penalties by Law.

That's seems like a good idea, but no sooner an area has been cleaned,by the next day the rubbish is back.people just cannot keep Gambia clean

@@elizabethsonko3714 I some how seems to quite agreed with you 💯%...disappointing to say the least but your statement is true..I just don't understand why they like to littered trash and filts so much and never think about cleaning after themselves and why even allowed people to sell in such a condition of unsanitary environment and think it is ok..I just can't seems to wrap my mind around it or to put a clean finger pointing on who is responsible for that..I will tell them in a heart beat to NOT just do that..Why can't the buyers alert or advice them not to do that, what are they afraid is going to happen to tell someone to atleast clean their area before selling their merchandise or they would not buy from them at all..I think both the buyers and the sellers have a sole responsibility and a duty to help keep our environment clean and not to mentioned local authorities in charge of health and sanitary environment. The rules should be enforced and regulated..

I respect the young people who want to work to provide for themselves and their families, but there are laws you have to uphold in doing so. There is know crime in hustling but don’t break the law. I just hope the government will put things in place to accommodate them somewhere else

As i always watch this operations clear the roads I feel so bad about the poor average Gambians trying to make a living and ends meet, the ones to be blame on this are physical planning,NRA and the list goes on.we all need developments but the task force in the manner they take things and demolished of people’s properties with bitterness, envy, shows their lack of training, unprofessional and illiteracy.

you`re talking linke this because you are not affceted. Africans will not speak the truth if they are not in a negative situation. These youths want to work but there is not job for them so they created a way for them to have something for themselves and family and now you`re taking away that small bread from their mouths.
What have you prepared for the willing youths who want to work? You stopped them from earning their living, what else you want them to do? You are truly creating more hardship. Stop and think....
As for you, it seems all is well with you, however, if that`s the case, remember that there are many others out there who only survive in a daily base. No work for a day means no food .
May God guide and open the eyes of the authorities to know and see the pit they are digging. When you keep digging a pit, if you`re not careful, when the pit gets wider and dipper, even the diggers will also fall into it.
A word for the wise is quite sufficient
