All curent and past champions have trained like that for years, that's why they succeeded Is hard to wake on 4 am and go running when you sleep in silk sheets
@@mark_yt91 I get what you're saying but that's not really my point. For example in America and Britain and a lot of Eastern European countries high-level boxing gyms have high-level equipment and newer punching bags ring aprons etc. This is the best amateur boxing team in the world, and their training in a gym that looks like it's been abandoned

It’s a shame that Cubans Dominate in amateurs, but very few are able to translate well into the professional ranks. Dont get me wrong there is some very good Cuban pros, but not as many as you’d think.
Best of luck team Cuba 🇨🇺 ❤
Éxito para los muchachos cubanos. Entrenando duro y con todo cuesta arriba.

The sad truth about Cuban boxing is theres amazing and tragic side to there boxing. Legendary in the Olympics, no one in the PROs.
They actually legalize pros back in 2021.
Until you talk to any great Cuban boxer in history and see that they disagree with your assessment
Insane how they dominate competition while having such poor training facilities and equipment.

As a fan of mainstream world boxing, I have not seen Arlen Lopez or Julio cesar names in world boxing competitions.
Because professionnal sport is not a thing in Cuba since 1962, hence their olympic successes

These lot are too good at boxing in the amateurs. Andy cruz is smashing it in the pros, pure talent.
He had to defect to do that tho
He had to leave the country illegally he left his son even there

Has Yosbany Veitia left Cuba as well?

Yep Cubans are best but...why when a great cuban amateur turns pro, rarely reaches same greatness?
