- Hero Wars Isaac is the most powerful hero in the game against mage heroes. Isaac is an over-powered hero. Everyone should develop this hero, Isaac is must have hero. I repeat, Isaac is must have hero.
Isaac in combination with other heroes can be used in 2 different ways.
• Isaac as support hero
• Isaac as main damage dealer
Isaac can be used as a support hero. Isaac supports physical damage dealers and silences the opponent team. Isaac is effective if the opponent team contains at least 2 mages, and is most effective when all 5 heroes are mages as Isaac's gains energy from magic attack. As a support hero Issac supports Marksmen and Warriors with the armor penetration from his first artifact Tes’lin, and his silence ability.
Marksmen and Warriors that you can support with Hero Wars Isaac:
Marksmen: Jhu, Artemis, Dante, Astrid and Lucas, Dark Star, Keira, Ginger, Daredevil
Warriors: Yasmine, K'hark, Ishmael
We've excluded 4 Marksman and Warrior heroes from combination with Isaac, these are : Qing Mao, Elmir, Fox and Tristan
All 4 mentioned heroes have armor penetration as their first artifact - As we mentioned before, Isaac's first artifact gives armor penetration. Because armor cannot be reduced below 0 we believe that there's no need for 2 heroes with an armor penetration first artifact. One hero with an armor penetration artifact is enough in any battle.
In all combinations Isaac supports the physical damage dealer with his armor penetration artifact.
Isaac can be used as a main damage dealer. If the opposing team has more than 3 mage heroes then Isaac can be used as the main damage dealer because he charges up fast enough to kill the entire team.
When we build a team around Isaac Hero Wars the primary goal is to support him. There are 2 type of teams that can be combined for Isaac effectiveness
This team is used in case the opponent team has a physical attack in their composition.
We use Astaroth to keep Hero Wars Isaac safe.
Nebula increases Isaac's attack power with her fourth skill Equilibrium, and her first artifact Unborn Stars.
Sebastian gives Isaac critical hit and debuffs negative effects. Examples of negative effects are Aurora's stun, Orion's stun, Lars' stun etc
Martha heal whole team, spped up team with her 4th skill 250% and protect team with her first artifact armor.
Dorian gives Isaac vampirism and supports his attack power with his first artifact Bleeding Steel. Vampire Isaac is very hard to kill with mages as he recovers health with every attack. Dorian should be used if you fight Twins team. Dorian support Isaac with vampirism only if Isaac is in range close to Dorian.
Astaroth is one of the tanks that can be used in this combination, we mention him because of his fourth skill Last Word which resurrects a fallen ally. In this combination can be used with other tanks as well. We don’t recommend using Aurora and Rufus as both have a magic damage absorption shield which reduces the amount of magic damage Isaac takes.
This combination can only be used if the opponent team only has magic heroes and no physical damage dealer. Teams such as ODH or Twins.
We mentioned before how other heroes support Isaac. Lets see how Jet supports Isaac. Jet's first skill increases Isaac's physical attack and regenerates his health, Jet's second skill reduces the enemies armor, his third skill prevents opponents from regenerating health, and his fourth skill gives Isaac critical damage. Jet's first artifact adds armor to the whole team. Jet is one of the best support heroes.
When shouldn't you use Isaac? Isaac should not be used when the opposing team has no mage heroes. Isaac's charge (energy) comes from his attack and absorbed mage attack so Isaac should not be used when the opponent team is composed of pure damage heroes like Heidi, Maya etc
In this section we will give our opinion about the Engineer team. Isaac can be used in combination with Ginger. Isaac supports Ginger with third skill. Ginger supports Isaac with her first artifact Noble Mk.2. There is no clear reason why Isaac and Fox are in same group of engineers when both have the same artifact of armor penetration. Using those 2 heroes in battle won't contribute to the team much. When we combine heroes we tend to not double the same artifact. Exceptions are for increased physical attack and magic attack on advanced combinations.
Isaac supports Marksmen and Warriors who have built in armor penetration. It is mentioned by the game developers that armor can not go below 0. If we use Marksmen or Warriors in battle and 2 heroes with artifact armor penetration then the armor penetration total may reach more than 80k which is useless because armor can not go under 0.
We believe that in further game development we will see why Isaac and Fox are in the same group of Engineers.

for the last part "how to counter Isaac with a mage team" (specifically, Part 1), it's most common for a mage team can counter Isaac when using Aurora as tank (assuming that you have Sebastian to counter silences), and it does not matter if opponent has control/support heros, such as Sebastian. I see this every day
im not sure if i understand it.
we mention 2 condition -1 Isaac should not supported by sebastian. 2. attacker team (team that will counter isaac should contain control) . COntrol abilities are stun sleep etc. Aurora is one of heroes with stun skill.
Both of condition have to be meet for mage team win over Isaac ( with mage team we exclude all pure damage heroes and physical damage heroes) example astaroth isaac nebula sebastian martha | axel - is very hard to be killed with mage team. but if yu remove sebastian fromt his team and attacker team contains control skill like stun sleep etc than mage team can win . ( nebula is also a trouble supporting Isaac)
Cool! still, with Isaac's 2nd skill using his health as it's modifier I've seen many use Oliver patron to max his skill, which makes for better overall protect against magic. 62.6416% magic absorption for Isaac alone, 17.8354% for others in the tem when Isaac has Oliver patron at max (so pretty good for enemies you can't control.) then again, 8 or 9 sec of silence is pretty nice -only against non-Seb/Nebula/(etc) tems though.

Thanks a lot, i understand better why Isaac is not as good with my team. I use Aurora And QM, they are my 2 important heroes and then Markus for the healer and Yasmine for the second damage player. I have Hélios, Nébula Sébastien, Isaac and now Jet for the other heroes.
Now i prefer to use Cornelius again magic team.
I have Martha, Astaroth and Andvari too, but dont use them a lot.
Watch our last video Basics of building a team, will help more. the right way to combine heroes is combination of skills an artifacts. in videoi suggest you to watch you will see how we combine artifacts - the logic behind. QM first artfact is armor penetration, Aurora attack is based on magic, when you use aurora and QM togather aurora is only simple tank with dodge protection. Markus first artifact magic defense. when you fight magic teams you use markus, when you fight physical team you use martha. when you figt magic team you use isaac, when you fight physical team you use QM

Hi Olympus, thanks for the content. It's so valuable! and I'm wondering on Keira + Undead, hoping they put her in the tribe. Who would be the best healer for this team? Should I go double tank? I find Keira too squishy to be placed in 2nd position :)

Hello Der Steppenwolf double tank is more defensive. Defensive somposition must contain more armor. I dont want to mislead you we have done some test with Keira but not on the level to give right advise. Keira can be used also with Dorian if you can make line Dorian to be next keira.

I just dod some test with Keira look promesing on offense but for defense team need more to analyse. I tested offense team Aurora Tristan Keira sebastian Dorian - killed Dante team. The point is you should find a way to protect Keira - Armor and Dodge can be right path to search on :)
@@Olympushw Thanks so much :D seems Keira for attack can take anyone down given the right team. Actually I'm focusing my attention on the Undead for defense, that would split my strategy in 2 phases. 1st where Keira tries to take 1 squishy enemy down to let Morrigan transform it into a Skeleton. That would give me easy win against many teams, once they all turn over. But if I lose Keira then the battle goes on Corvus' hands, which is more effective in the later part of the fight when all the skeletons are up. Keira for Kamikaze, Sebastian for statuses and that boost for the one shot while Aurora is the cherry on top for mitigation (AoE magic damage is always good) :) Corvus then would hard counter many enemies like Lian and Yasmine, Dodge heroes thanks to his first skill. Morrigan could help against K'arkh and even Twins. Albus would be the top choice. Isaac for Magic and Andi for K'arkhs. Hope all this makes sense !

Anytime at your convenience no rush :) Yes I watched your Tristan's video too, I think he would be the best choice against physical teams since he has synergy with Aurora's energy gain, but that requires Cain to be patronage to Aurora as oppose to Dante which is less ideal.
We think Tristan Aurora will help Marksman - like Artemis Daredevil, DarkStar etc. Tristan get second position in line which makes heroes like dante or Khark less effective
@@Olympushw Very true. It then left with Morrigan and Fox who are behind Dante, but none of them seem to have much synergy beside the armor penetration which is sad... I guess I should have developed Corvus over Aurora for my Dante/Yasmine team so I can switch between Morrigan and Isaac against physical and magic teams and have better synergy altogether :(

with Ascencion coming, how will that effect "standard" team compositions consisting of tank/dmg dealer (1 or 2)/ support/control (1or 2) and healer, since ascencion trees will be expencive for f2p or low investment players?
