You are talking unsatisfied and come back wash again, how do you deal some customer have 1/2'' to 1'' gravel or mud around the tires and after wash then complain not clean and some wash their car one every 3 to 6 months and complain not clean either and usually, select the cheapest wash too. I am sick of dealing with these kind of customers

Serious car enthusiasts know to avoid automatic washes like this as car paint is surprisingly vulnerable to swirl marks, etc. Hand washing is best.
how does by handwashing NOT make swirls?
@@stevethea5250 Fair point but handwashing at home means I can ensure the washcloth is clean and free of debris. The weight and speed of those commercial brushes would also concern me.

i went with touchless/laser wash for lazy monthly maintenance days for now
@@GunnyPhillips In Germany it is not allowed to wash your car at home, at your garage, street, or in public spaces.

Same old car wash concept but on an industrial scale. There is no way that I, as a car enthusiast, will be taking one of my well-cared for cars to a car wash factory run with machines that slap against the body. Want me to come? Have a hand washing section and show me the laundry baskets full of clean cloths that will be used to touch my car. This is probably a good business, but my feel is that its customers are the types who think of their cars in the same way they do their toasters.
Hand washing is actually much more abrasive and potentially damaging to your car's paint than a modern car wash is. It ain't the 60s any more.
I think you have no idea how bad these mechanic car washed are. Hand washing is the best possible option. Just have to know how to wash correctly. I spend about 3 hours every week washing my car. As a maintenance wash. If I go full out. I easily spend 8 hours. And if I go absolutely ballistic... I can without a problem spend 30 hours on it. But my car looks better than it was when I got it from the dealer.
@@tankeriv How do you want to know that german car washes are like American ones? Most washes like this here in Stuttgart uses an special material on their brushes called Polyethylen which is very similar to textile and it is going very smooth on the car. Modern cars in Germany have also a very strong paint. The brushes are getting sprayed with their own special water sprayer that makes the dirt go off. The fast rotations swing the dirt away. Its rare that a car wash makes scratches.
@@tankeriv Luxury vehicle dealers like mercedes and BMW also go to car washes to clean the cars before putting them on sell..
@@hologammer1133 yeah and if you check the paint of new mercedes and bmws its awful, the swirls are everywhere, handwashing is much better, 2 buckets, grit guards and 2 or 3 wash mitts does the trick

He is talking out his butt... 400 Cars per hour is not possible. Look at his line speed, even if he is actually washing the 50,000 cars a month as he claims.... do the math, this breaks down to only 150 cars per hour and that is more realistic.
Chuck Lundberg Mr. Wash Stuttgart's tunnels probably can both get to 100 CPH if extensive prepping is done (which Mr. Wash does for all vehicles). This should work out to a roughly 200 CPH maximum throughput (only half of what they claim).
Other facilities can handle more cars per hour through use of longer conveyors, automated prewashing, and automated towel drying in addition to an air dry. For example, ANAC Carwash Breda claims to be capable of 125 CPH on its two wash conveyors, but they can likely handle as many as 150 each. Other larger facilities, like Holz Waschparadies Ulm, can likely handle about 200 CPH on one conveyor. A capacity of 400 CPH seems to be almost unheard of, even with regards to the largest German and Dutch facilities.
Yes, I agree. I feel he was boasting his numbers for the camera. Longer tunnels can put out more cars than shorter tunnels but even bumper to bumper and at a fast conveyor speed the best a tunnel car wash can do is 200 per hour as you saif. Which breaks down to over 3 cars per minute.
+chuck lundburg mr wash pre washes the cars in the waiting queue and they can adapt their conveyor speed on how busy it is. So they can do it if they want to
He also says "up to 400 cars per hour" which means its their absolute peak capacity

Yes they do, there are some in Canada I think.
