Everyone's shitting on Dan for derailing but every time it's Destiny. The reason Dan gets distracted is because Destiny thinks his childish humor is funny. E.g. 43:10 . Hearing Destiny describe himself as funny in other streams enrages me. 90% of his 'le funy' moments are just bad your mom jokes that he hopes will be accepted because he thinks it's irony pilled comedy but they just display that he isn't funny. Dan isn't amazing as a serious host but he is clearly trying occasionally and would be 10% better without Destiny.
I think Dylan was just on this because he was on the Bridges Podcast earlier that day. I am looking way more forward to that because Steven and Kyla work much better off eachother’s points and with staying on topic with their guests. I honestly still haven’t seen their reason for having Bridges guests on Anything Else when it turns out like this kind of often. Some guests work much better for this podcast but I wouldn’t believe most Bridges guests would comfortably transfer over to this one. Dan should be pulling his own guests for this that work much better with quips and humor

I think Steven does it more so as a response and Dan just has a sense of ego so he doesn’t see why he shouldn’t be interjecting on his podcast. Also the drinking = worse episode; drunk banter is only fun if you’re drunk too
To be honest, Kyla, Dan, Pisco, all annoying. Pisco has had some good inputs sometimes, but generally he is annoying. Destiny needs better partner here. Loner Box maybe?

'Combat Ready' is an interesting term. For instance, if all Active Duty was Combat Ready, we would not do NTC or JRTC before Deployment. When I first got to Fort Carson our guys were already Deployed out there for 2 Weeks. So when we got to Carson, before they'd Deploy us we had a Month of IRT (Individual Readiness Training). To be a Deployable Unit, you need something like 70%+ of your guys Medically cleared. Carson was a Rapid Deployment Base, meaning we'd Tour for a Year, then recover/retrain a Year to go back on Tour for a Year. Over and over. That was a Status Symbol. We got busted for not being over our 70% and sending hard profiles over, just so we didn't lose the Rapid Deployment Status. This is 64th BSB specifically. So to say every Active Unit is Combat Ready... I guess in a pinch we COULD merge units with to many injuries and then just send it... but in reality we have a Training Ramp for Deployments. We're not all SF where 24 Hours Notice we can be dropped anywhere. At no point is 100% of the US Active Military 'Combat Ready'.

Dan's take on community college is so dumb. I went to community college for 2 years and got paid 1.4k per semester because of government aid and scholarships. I went there to finish my gen ed classes then transferred to a 4 year school. This is how i got my degree without taking out loans. Taking gen ed classes at a 4 year school is so much more expensive. it's basically a scam.

Dan's take on community college is so dumb. I went to community college for 2 years and got paid 1.4k per semester because of government aid and scholarships. I went there to finish my gen ed classes then transferred to a 4 year school. This is how i got my degree without taking out loans. Taking gen ed classes at a 4 year school is so much more expensive. it's basically a scam.
