Apportionment ratio refers to the ratio of the assigned water injection rate between two injector wells. For instance, suppose we have 2000 m3/day of water available, and we decide to implement an apportionment ratio of 1 to 3 between injector 1 and injector 2. This means that the injection rate of injector 2 will be three times higher than that of injector 1.
Injector 2: 1500 m3/day
Injector 1: 500 m3/day
