Great review, I have a q600 only cost £238, and put 9200s with it and sounds great. No Atmos sound but it does decode it, and some more volume from ambient ports at top. You should try the 9500s with it and review it again 👍🏼

@@tclandroid-se7fx yes but it is not separated from the front channels, so there is no extra height. The rear speakers swa9200s only have a front speaker as well, so there's no rear height to the Atmos decoding. I'm not a fan of Atmos anyway, as there's no real standard among studios, so it all looks like phantom processing to me. Like 9.1, 11.1 etc
Which is best sound mode setting from remote? Atm I only watch movies so have it on 'Surround sound'
If you want the purest audio as the creators intent then use Standard. Otherwise Adaptive and Surround Sounds are good too.

Hi, is this soundbar have Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master Audio, Dolby 5.1 and DTS 5.1 codecs ? Or only with Atmos and DTS X ?

@@DigitalFeeds Thank you for the response, couldn't find Dolby Digital 5.1 and Master Audio on spec of Samsung website but DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital plus , True HD Atoms, DTs X are available.
Q700b or b670?
How’s the performance without q-symphony? Is it like a game changer?Will I be missing much if I use it on my LG tv? My tv has earc ports but of course qsymphony will not be available.
And is the bass on this that bad? I’ve read that it lacks the bass even when compared to q600b.
Planning to get this but I have the above doubts.
I couldn't try q-symphony since I don't have a Samsung TV but for a soundbar this thing is crazy good. It's got all the features and performance you'd want from an audio unit at this price.

Because I demoed q600/700/800b at the store but I found the bass of 700b to be weakest amongst the 3. Please let me know. Thanks
The bass is good enough. Well it's not something groundbreaking but it's pretty decent. 800B has better bass since it's a higher end unit but also more pricy. Can't comment on the performance of Q600B.

In order to get q symphony . You need a qled tv 55 inch or bigger. Also you will need this q samsung bar to work with it. I have it at my place. But to be honest q symphony is just a way of getting people to buy samsung products together. My honest opinion. You won't hear sound from your tv that much anyways.
Is the Dolby Atmos mode enabled automatically or do I need to do something to enable it?

Dolby Atmos is automatically enabled when the correct codecs are detected by the Soundbar. You will also see 'Dolby Atmos' appear on the front display.
Having said that, streaming services like Disney+ will also only show Dolby Atmos as an Audio option when you have the required equipment. Hope this helped. Do consider subscribing.
@@DigitalFeeds also Atmos on Disney only works on the highest stream speed . All consoles blurays, have to be set to bitstream, with second audio disabled on blu ray.
Hi guys I have S95B and recently I purchased q700b, do you think is it worth the price
Good decision. The S95B is one of the best OLED TVs out there with QD-OLED technology.
Although Samsung has now launched S95C, the predecessor is still worth it especially it's now being offered at a considerably lower price.
I am getting it for around 290 - 300 usd in india and I also have a samsung TV...so should I go for it or check for some better options ?
You got two choices (considering if you wanna stick with Samsung, specifically the Q700).
You can either go for Q700C which is the 2023 version of Q700B (which was released in 2022).
Or you can go for Q700B.
Now both these versions are pretty identical in terms of performance, features and design. And it seems Samsung just rebadged Q700B as Q700C to update their 2023 Soundbar lineup.
The Q700C retails for about $600. So if you're getting the Q700B for $300 I would say that's a crazy awesome bargain. So yes, definitely go for Q700B. On top of that you have a Samsung TV so you can also take advantage of the Q-symphony feature if your TV supports it.

Hi. I see you are using this sound via HDMI earc via Sony tv. Can you tell me whether your soundbar gets disconnected and goes back to tv mode in between? I face this issue with this a lot
I haven't faced such issue but I recommend doing this which might save you the hassle
If you're connecting your device directly to Soundbar then make sure you connect the eARC cable from Soundbar to any HDMI in port on TV but not the eARC.
So your connection will be like:
Audio Source HDMI out ----> Soundbar HDMI in
Soundbar eARC -------> TV HDMI in (any non ARC/eARC port)
@@DigitalFeeds if do this no sound comes. Idk why. Sound only comes when I plug it via earc on my tv. And that disconnects a lot
@@RockPaul-eb2nz which TV do you have? Make sure that external speakers (or a similar option like passthrough) is selected in the TV's settings screen.

Not sure... It comes with only one out of the box.

I doubt it, usually a different styling, remote control and earc rather than arc is the difference between a and b systems. Unless you need earc, I wouldn't bother 🙃
Which one to choose between sony S40 or Samsung q700b/XL

The Sony S40r is a 5.1 channel Soundbar and while it's quite good, it lacks Dolby Atmos so if you want Dolby Atmos you'd have to go with Samsung Q700
Go for the Q700B
I was in the same dilemma but went ahead and bought the Q700B. Don't regret it at all. Sony systems are worst.

@@blog.56 I have 600b, which sounds great, but has no Atmos height, only an ambient beam. The 700b has wlfi, 2 speakers on top and rear Atmos compatibility with 9500s speakers. 600b rears only make it 5.1, rather than 3.1, but it sounds amazing and only cost £238 on Amazon, with 9200s speakers costing £180, that's less than a q700b on its own 🙃

Yes the Dolby Atmos works without Samsung TV. It's got nothing to do with TV, but make sure your TV can passthrough required audio if you're hooking it up directly to it.
Samsung TV is only required if you want Q-SYMPHONY which let the Soundbar and TV speakers work in tandem for extra immersion.
which one gives better experience Q700B or Q930B
Q930 is a higher end model
No sound test?
I did several sound tests but I didn't post in this video because you'd still be listening from your default speakers. It's something you need to actually listen to in person in order to experience the sound.

The Q600B is also a good option if you can live without some of the features that Q700B has. For instance there's no built-in Chromecast support on Q600B. It also lacks wifi so you can't control it with Smarthings app. Also absent are wireless Dolby Atmos, Alexa and Google assistant.

I have q series Samsung 85 inch tv and this sounbar. Sounbar is pc...sheet. I mean for music. Sub is about nothing. Samsung tv are junk. Previuosly I have Sony 75 inch tv. Sony was Sony:) Unfortanely my child broken Sony screen.

Q700b or b550 ?
Q700b is a higher end Soundbar than b550, which is a 2.1 Soundbar without features like Dolby Atmos and smart connectivity.
