Hey Charles, Angel from The Bay here. It's been a minute for sure. Good to see your long awaited dream came true. I think you need to cut down on your "outting" time. 4 hrs is too long to be away from home post op. It's good to walk around etc, but I would suggest shortening your time away. Your body is healing and it's going to take some time. Cool that you got a new toy to play with. Take care man, Angel from The Bay Area, Caliboy USA
I have yet another question, is there any issue with fully emptying bladder with the flip flow? You're looking good in your new outfit ðI like the pattern on your shirt :) Oh, I'm staying cool up here, it got to 34 degrees night before last lol... I wish I could send a bit of cool air your way just for a break from the heat! I hope you get some rest ðī
Yes. Nine times out of 10 I feel the urge to go even after the flip-flow is fully emptied. Dr. DeLeon mentioned this last week when they switched me from the leg back to the flip flow, but she also pointed out that all urination, whether standing, sedentary, or through a catheter was an imperfect act and urine is often left in the bladder no matter what. Of course this varies from person to person, but it is something to consider.
@@charlesasher Interesting and also good to know. Thank you for sharing this all with us, so far I'm not as scared as I originally was about getting this done myself ð
