Because after watching your rambles for the past 10 months or so, it seems to me that you are much happier now, than before you lost it. You have talked about your past, living "inside that box" that you really weren't happy with, the stockbroker job, the failed marriage, the fact that you couldn't pursue your writing. And look where you are now!! You're right where you're supposed to be, doing exactly what you want to do!! Wow. I don't usually comment, I'm a lurker, but I always watch your channel and read some comments. After more than a quarter century in law enforcement I am a forcibly retired 4th generation peace officer with PTSD. My kids' dad was killed in the line of duty. I watch your channel because there is usually a snippet I need, I selfishly take what I need and leave the rest. Sometimes it is pearls of wisdom, or just to go outside and take care of chickens or do something, anything (thank you Dearly for for that)! Hearing you share your learning opportunities and seeing you succeed and enjoy life is a constant reminder I can too. You remind me to let go of the past, keep moving forward (both very difficult tasks); and live, not just survive. The beauty you, your family and the homestead share is so special, thank you all for giving so much to others. This post, this morning ramble, brought tears to my eyes and an understanding of my life and behavior I had overlooked. I am accused of being defensive by one person in my life ... I am JADEing. Interesting refence about an idea notebook from Stephen King. I read On Writing and though it was a great book, but did not remember that part, but I actually remember a similar quote from Dean Koontz. Dean Koontz said that he writes ideas down on a piece of paper and sticks them in a drawer, but he has never gone back to that drawer because he never seems to run out of ideas and he always works on the ideas that he finds compelling when he comes up with them. Although those two statements sound different, they are really the same way of saying pretty much the same thing that the best ideas really do not need to be written down. You will either remember them, think about them, or work on them until they take shape.
I totally agree with the woman who told you to not do the jade thing, its your channel and your life do what makes you happy, anybody who doesnt like your content should just move on. Never get into a fight with crazy people they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

About the ah-ha notebook: The human brain has this tendency to write down stuff so we can forget it and fill our brains with other junk 🤷🏻♀️. I’ve found if it’s an idea for a story, an ‘understanding’ I want to ruminate on later, or even a spiritual ah-ha,...if I don’t immediately walk it out, but instead put it in my tablet notes, I will indeed forget it, maybe to remember snatches of it and have to go through all of my notes-wasting time-to find it. I totally get Mr. King’s assertion that a really good idea will stick until you put it into action...and then you’ve ‘eaten’ it and it becomes a part of you, like breathing. 😊

I'm glad to see that even though you deleted that ramble, you put the best line in this one: "I'm going to be the best me I can be, because everyone else is already taken." And that last part still makes me laugh. 😊 Love to you, Dearly, and Daniel. Some of my favorite foods, I like without extras on it; like ribeye steak, a little salt and pepper, cook it, and it doesn't need any help(from steak sauce, or any other idea someone had). There are other foods this applies to, at least for me anyway. The way I see it, your videos(you, Dearly, and Daniel) are good just the way you make them. They don't need any help. Your videos, Dearly's videos, the ones you do together. They don't need any help.🙂

Kevin, I am behind on your videos. I try to watch them on a regular basis but seem to be several months behind. Please know people watch and learn from the videos even after several months. Well you have hit the nail on the head for me. I was in a marriage that lasted for almost 25 years. Things (him) toward the last 15 were spent putting me in a FOG. I had to Jade for the 15 years and it is hard to get free. I thought like you I was well on my way out of the fog. But not so after finding this video and watching. It has been 10 yrs since my divorce and I thought I was finding myself, getting me back. I don't know if I have even started. Now that I am aware of my JADE (ing) I can truly start finding myself. Once again thank you for making this video. I will go to the TH-cam person you mentioned and watch and listen to her as well as trying to keep up with Homesteading on the ranch. I hope you read this. I understand! I have no contact with several family members anymore. Only my cousins who are much more like brothers than my brothers. They are positive and supportive. Like someone told me a long time ago that when you get drama out of your life it may be lonely for a while until you replace those relationships with more positive ones. I don’t know if I’m 100% with you on you’ll remember your good ideas and don’t need to write them down. I forget what I went to the kitchen half the time. If I didn’t write down a list for what I’m to get at the grocery store. I’d have to make 50 trips to get everything. I don’t agree with you’ll remember all the good ideas. I’ve almost been asleep and have a brilliant idea. Being to lazy to get up and write it down I tell myself I’ll remember and do it in the morning. I get up and remember I had a great idea about a car, but can’t remember what it was.

Now I get it! Just realised that's exactly what I've been doing! Been "chatting" to someone who was trying to control me, and I was trying to defend myself all the time . I wonder if it was deliberate, or if he had issues himself. I eventually realised it was having a really bad effect on me and have now "finished" our "relationship"! I feel SO good I've done that.

Oh this stikes home. i have spent a lifetime defending my corner, and been frequently verbally attacked for what I 'see', 'hear' and 'feel'. I am an intuitive and am connected to the world which co-exists with ours, but now I tend to keep quiet about it after having had my web site hacked in to so it had to be taken off line. Interesting refence about an idea notebook from Stephen King. I read On Writing and though it was a great book, but did not remember that part, but I actually remember a similar quote from Dean Koontz. Dean Koontz said that he writes ideas down on a piece of paper and sticks them in a drawer, but he has never gone back to that drawer because he never seems to run out of ideas and he always works on the ideas that he finds compelling when he comes up with them. Although those two statements sound different, they are really the same way of saying pretty much the same thing that the best ideas really do not need to be written down. You will either remember them, think about them, or work on them until they take shape.

About the ah-ha notebook: The human brain has this tendency to write down stuff so we can forget it and fill our brains with other junk 🤷🏻♀️. I’ve found if it’s an idea for a story, an ‘understanding’ I want to ruminate on later, or even a spiritual ah-ha,...if I don’t immediately walk it out, but instead put it in my tablet notes, I will indeed forget it, maybe to remember snatches of it and have to go through all of my notes-wasting time-to find it. I totally get Mr. King’s assertion that a really good idea will stick until you put it into action...and then you’ve ‘eaten’ it and it becomes a part of you, like breathing. 😊

Some of my favorite foods, I like without extras on it; like ribeye steak, a little salt and pepper, cook it, and it doesn't need any help(from steak sauce, or any other idea someone had). There are other foods this applies to, at least for me anyway. The way I see it, your videos(you, Dearly, and Daniel) are good just the way you make them. They don't need any help. Your videos, Dearly's videos, the ones you do together. They don't need any help.🙂
Sounds a bit like "Let your yes be your yes and your no be your no", which is how I try to communicate. Do not be hard on your self, you are doing the best that you are able.
Good Morning Kevin. Before you even finished I looked up and watched Dr. Tara. She is excellent in her explanation of the syndrome. Understanding how it works is much easier than getting someone to remove themselves from the abusive situation however.

With that said, we all have plans, methods and there is reasons behind them. The explanation of these things is what makes a TH-cam channel interesting and educational.

Wow Kevin, I just watched your video about fingernails, and I commented on the synchronistic element therein, then clicked on this video, you passed me on to Shrink4men, and I was shocked to realise that a relationship from my past that I've been trying to understand was completely explained by that video. Wow!! It's what I've needed for so long, to understand why it was all so confusing and hurtful, and how I ended up 100% the bad guy. My mind is blown, but by a breath of fresh air. Kevin, I am behind on your videos. I try to watch them on a regular basis but seem to be several months behind. Please know people watch and learn from the videos even after several months. Well you have hit the nail on the head for me. I was in a marriage that lasted for almost 25 years. Things (him) toward the last 15 were spent putting me in a FOG. I had to Jade for the 15 years and it is hard to get free. I thought like you I was well on my way out of the fog. But not so after finding this video and watching. It has been 10 yrs since my divorce and I thought I was finding myself, getting me back. I don't know if I have even started. Now that I am aware of my JADE (ing) I can truly start finding myself. Once again thank you for making this video. I will go to the TH-cam person you mentioned and watch and listen to her as well as trying to keep up with Homesteading on the ranch. I hope you read this. Thank you for your service and maybe someday I will also find someone who truly lives ME. videos.

I understand! I have no contact with several family members anymore. Only my cousins who are much more like brothers than my brothers. They are positive and supportive. Like someone told me a long time ago that when you get drama out of your life it may be lonely for a while until you replace those relationships with more positive ones. Thankfully, I mostly have positive in my life now. I sent this other video to a friend of mine who is dealing with same situations. And my background definitely has made me jade

Today I learned something new with the JADEing as I was having a specific problem & knew that I was being drawn in...just couldn't seem to stop it from happening. Now that I'm looking at things a little bit different, I seem to be becoming better at ignoring the situation!!!

I don’t know if I’m 100% with you on you’ll remember your good ideas and don’t need to write them down. I forget what I went to the kitchen half the time. If I didn’t write down a list for what I’m to get at the grocery store. I’d have to make 50 trips to get everything. I don’t agree with you’ll remember all the good ideas. I’ve almost been asleep and have a brilliant idea. Being to lazy to get up and write it down I tell myself I’ll remember and do it in the morning. I get up and remember I had a great idea about a car, but can’t remember what it was.
