Tom, i'm saying this from my heart man, i'm so glad that you took the first risk of making your amber narguile review, because now Tom, you're in the tops my man. next to marc in my eyes. you alex and marc make the most complete, honest and enjoyable reviews i've seen in a fragrance reviewer. and i can't tell you how much we all appreciate it. great review as usual and i cannot wait to sniff this out
Tom I just received my Interlude Woman, and as promised you'll be the first to know. I don't even know where to start, this is such an unusual fragrance. The first thing that strikes me is how complex this is. It's so complex it's borderline confusing but at the same time this is anything but chaotic. It's harmonius and and extremely well assembled together. I completely get the tranquility in chaos concept. Amazing
Awesome review as always Tom. This is an absolutely stunning fragrance! I am currently liking this more than my Reflection Man and Jubilation XXV. This to me is what I imagine being the zenith of Arabian perfumery.
I have tried it...and you are correct. It is stunning. Christopher Chong actually watched this video and sent me a sample! Can't wait to check out Beloved.
Brilliant review Tom. You are entirely correct about this fragrance being one that you must delve deeply into. It was spectacular the first day I sampled it and has been astonishing me ever since.
I nearly went flippin crazy hapy when I saw you posted this video, I am goo goo in love with Amouage too, love nearly all of them (Ciel being my biggest disappointment) haven't tried Interlude but already blind bought Interlude woman, it must arrive any day and if it's anything like your descrition of the man´s version I´ll be happier than an easter bunny. LOVE your reviews
Picked this gem up for xmas, i own 3 other amouages and by far this one has the strongest projection,, my clothes smells for days,, great incense with a sweet touch to it,, thanks for the review
Man, thank you. By the way - at the risk of embarrassing myself - have I told you how over the top cool I think you are? You have this kick back awesome style about your reviews that is so completely natural....you talk to the camera like you are talking to a bunch of buddies that are over to your place hanging out - it puts everyone at ease and establishes so much trust in what you are saying. As a viewer, I would blind buy what you suggest. You have a talent. I just think you're great.
Excellent review. It's funny how challenging this scent can be. On the one hand, I wish there were a bit less oregano in Interlude Man. But on the other hand, it might not be the same without it. I adore the scent so much. Interlude Man is so very compelling, and it lasts for ages.
I just got a sample of Interlude Woman sent compliments of Mr. Chong. I haven't had a chance to try yet. I love your comment about the confusing/harmonious juxtaposition...its is the same case with Interlude Man which I think is just brilliant on their part.
Hi Tom, Thanks for your take on this. I tried Interlude Woman and really didn't like it that much. Interlude Man knocked my socks off though. I've been daubing a little bit from the sample and it's such a strong perfume that even a drop lasts all day on me. I'm thinking that a small decant of it will last quite a while... or put money in a jar for a few months to get a fb. Thanks again for your input
You are the 'best' fragrance reviewer for upper end. Ive watched a lot of them. I have the most trouble finding where to buy most of my fragrances and for the best price. I looked on first in fragrence, but I could not find the opulent blue no 77 that you reviewed. I liked your review of it so much that I am considering blind buying it. Unless they have it at any stores in the states, but I think you said they dont. Is First in fragrance sold out?
Wow. What do I say to such a nice comment as this. Thank you man. So appreciative. Never thought I would have gone beyond that Ambre Narguille review when I was recording it back in March....but making these videos has been a blast for me and I'm so pleased you enjoy them. Hoping to see some new reviews from you soon man...you have a good nose. All the best buddy.
Tom, this was so wonderful, the music, was gorgeous. what music was that Tom? and the quote from Chong is beautiful. I have felt the way you do when I've seen art, I remember seeing Jackson Pollack's work and I could barely speak for the rest of the day.
Tom! Guess what, I just found out that a store that i go to all the time (Selfridges) has the entire Amouage lineup lol Ive been passing it every time I go to the mall. On another note, i can't find Midnight In Paris anywhere, it was recently removed from shelves at most stores here idk wussup with that!
I've been hearing great things about this one I'll hv 2 check it out, Great review Tom! I hvnt yet explored this house, my nose is a virgin to their fragrances, I guess I'm saving myself for a special time ;)
this is my first ever sniff of a amouage fragerance and i dont have anything in my collection like this i LOVE this stuff i like the smokey smell but im a newbie and for some reason i get some vanilla smell also but idk maybe my nose is weird lol and great review man :)
A good anlalogy of this one would be how the solar system formed......total chaos...material flying everywhere and then slowly comes out this beautiful perfect order.
I had trouble finding it on First in Frag also. Email them and they will direct you to the link . I never tell people to blind buy - but Blue 77 I am over the moon for. Thanks so much for the compliment. Sorry it took me so long to get back with you
How would you say this stands next to jxxv in terms of overall smell. I can see some collectors buying this based on the box alone. Crazy!!! Good job Tom as per usual. : )
Oh Donna - by the way - you should get a sample of Interlude Woman when it becomes available over here. I've never heard such great things about a fragrance as about that one. I haven't sniffed it so don't know much about it at all but people are going crazy over it.
Hi beautiful. The music is "Now We Are Free" from The Gladiator soundtrack. It is by Lisa Gerard and it is hauntingly gorgeous in my opinion. I think it fits the Amouage house perfectly. Know what you mean about art. Also architecture, some scenery, etc. Some things move me to tears and people think I'm nuts. Lol. I talk about that a bit in the Lumiere Noire video.
Hi, I really enjoyed your review of Amouage Interlude Man. I was at Aedes last week and they gave me a sample. What an extraordinary perfume it is. I was going back and forth thinking it's too masculine for a woman, but now I'm not so sure. I would love to wear it, but is it too manly? What's your opinion on it being a unisex perfume?
Hello Tom, I really like your reviews. I would be interested in your opinion about Amouage Ciel Man. Have you tried this one? Thank you and have a nice day!
I think this is a strong contender for best along with Jub XXV. L'air is more dry and arid, Tuscan Leather is more pure leather. This one is more smoke and incense and much more multi faceted. It is brilliant
i blind bought this based on reviews and also knowing there were bad reviews as well. completely open minded i sprayed a mist on the inside of my wrist and was blown away by the changes in scent that came after. it starts off strong smoky resinous then dries down very creamy and boozy. i love it so much i would rock this on any cool night of the year
Don't know if I should tell you this Tom but the second day I wore this I got M7 all day. I just could not loose the association. Did you find that at all? After that It returned to smelling like itself and I must say this is one exquisite fragrance for sure. You made me blind buy it...damn you Tom!
Hi Tom, Have you tried Interlude Woman? I just finished a small sample of it and find it a better frag than Interlude man. Totally unisex, and the mid & base notes are unique & to die for. A true masterpiece better than the men's version in my opinion. Sadly, there are no reviews on it on TH-cam. By the way, there is a new Amouage coming out soon named "Beloved Man" that sounds interesting........So many fragrances, so little time & money. Take care and happy sniffing.
I need to get a sample to spend time with it. I only sprayed it on paper, which to me is an almost useless test of a fragrance. I got heavy incense & woods, which are not my favorite notes. But it warrants further investigation. :)
No, i would say more like camp fire smoke with incense thrown in That being said I would go to Min New York online store and get their bespoke sample set. Order samples of Jub and Interlude. You get several of your choice to try for a good price
Hey man. They are two different animals. Jub XXV has almost a fruit liqueur/incense feel whereas this one is more smokey/leather/incense. I would be hard pressed to pick which I like more.
S T U N N I N G ! ! ! I saw yesterday that Escentual just got this in, its 170 kwid for the 100ml which is about 260 U.S. Have you got/tried any of the Library collection Tom? No 1 is my favorite, i find it much richer and fuller than the others.
I tried the entire Amouage lineup. I own 6 of them (Jubilation XXV, Epic Man, Opus II, Opus IV, Opus VI, and Interlude). Interlude is by far the darkest and most mysterious bottle Amouage has ever made. If Jubilation XXV screams royalty, Interlude screams elegance and sophistication
silverss onyoutube the dry down of interlude is indeed sweet with the amber that gives this vanilla smell The dry down is just mind blowing honestly and it last for days
Man, I'm sorry. It's not my settings it is a copyright law regarding certain music and playback on mobile devices. TH-cam doesn't allow it. It will play on a desktop.
Well Unforgivable was produced by a few perfumers, not sure what Negrin contributed but its not bad for a designer produced with a specific intention and consumers(particularly those not willing to fork over $100+ on a scent) in mind, which probably leads to limited creativity and resources.
Outstanding review! I put this one on my 'to buy' list immediately. Thanks for the great review Tom!

This is one of the best most honest Fragrance reviews I have ever seen. Cannot wait to try this one now.
Awesome review as always Tom. This is an absolutely stunning fragrance! I am currently liking this more than my Reflection Man and Jubilation XXV. This to me is what I imagine being the zenith of Arabian perfumery.
Excellent review Thomas! I have the Interlude Woman now you have me craving the Man! Thank You for sharing.
I have tried it...and you are correct. It is stunning. Christopher Chong actually watched this video and sent me a sample! Can't wait to check out Beloved.

Love the review and enjoyed the music video. Just blind bought this! Can't wait to get it! Hope all is well! 😃
Thanks for such a detailed review, Tom ! Will say the same of your review of Andy Tauer's L'air Du Desert Marocain.
Only exclusives reviews, this is the best channel in whole world, thank you my friend :)
Wow... speechless. Can't thank you enough for that, seriously. I just ordered a sample of Interlude from TPC courtesy of this vid!
Excellent review. It's funny how challenging this scent can be. On the one hand, I wish there were a bit less oregano in Interlude Man. But on the other hand, it might not be the same without it. I adore the scent so much. Interlude Man is so very compelling, and it lasts for ages.

Your opinion more than counts Freeze! I'm gonna have to hunt for my sample of Ciel and check it out. I can't remember a lot about it .

I definitely will do that. would I find it on luckyscent? would they be the ones to have the break?
Oh Donna - by the way - you should get a sample of Interlude Woman when it becomes available over here. I've never heard such great things about a fragrance as about that one. I haven't sniffed it so don't know much about it at all but people are going crazy over it.
I think of Aventus as kinda smokey, does this have a similar element blended with a different arrange of notes?
Cant tell you how much I appreciate this.

How Much Hours Longevity And Sillage Amouage interlude
That's so odd about Midnight in Paris. Wonder what's going on with that. Have you tried Interlude?
Sir Tom strikes again! You said it's not here yet? Da-yum! As soon as it is I'll be trying it! You are my fragrance dalai lama!
Thanks buddy! Let me know what you think when you get the Lush in.

I don't think there's a fragrance house on this earth that you have to approach with trepidation. Very, very good review. Time to order a sample...
Don't know if I should tell you this Tom but the second day I wore this I got M7 all day. I just could not loose the association. Did you find that at all? After that It returned to smelling like itself and I must say this is one exquisite fragrance for sure. You made me blind buy it...damn you Tom!
I'll get on it. Thanks for the suggestion sir
Yeah Ryan I love some of the Library collection. No 1 is great. Interlude shares similarities with VI
I've been wanting to go to Oman (and Yemen but not that safe these days).
Longevity and projection are amazing. A little dab'll do ya!
Hi Tom,
Have you tried Interlude Woman? I just finished a small sample of it and find it a better frag than Interlude man. Totally unisex, and the mid & base notes are unique & to die for. Tom which one you like more Interlude, Tobacco Vanille or Leather Oud?
I need to get a sample to spend time with it. I only sprayed it on paper, which to me is an almost useless test of a fragrance. I got heavy incense & woods, which are not my favorite notes. But it warrants further investigation. :)
Now We Are Free. Lisa Gerard from the Gladiator Soundtrack. I like Jub XXV also - a favorite
Amouage is my signature house. I love it passionately and with all my heart.
Pardon me if you mentioned it in your video, but what size is that bottle? Thanks! :)
It would be STUNNING on a woman. Did you try Interlude Woman as well? It is great also.
I have to hunt for my sample. I can't remember much about it.
Tom is it safe to say that Amouage is your favorite/signature house?
Ha!! I knew it. Yes, a bit like M7 at first. I love it! Glad you like it as well
Wow. Wouldn't have imagined that. That's too bad. Let me know what you think if Interlude please!
It is one of the most amazing scents I have ever encountered in my opinion
It has been ages. I'll have to get a sample.
2021 batch only last between 12-14 hours🙁, i can't imagine how strong it used to be
Let me know what you think! Really, really eager to hear your opinion since its so new...Great job with your channel by the way. Love your style
I have 3 bottles, years 2012 , 2013, 2014, very strong juice,I’m lucky to have 2 vintage bottles ,
I haven't tried. How do you find the Santal?
Incredible into Tom...really enjoyed it...song from Gladiator! lol Be well my friend.
The pics of Oman look amazing
hey Tom :-) whats you're opinion of Ciel Man ?
You say the nicest things! Thank you so much
My pleasure. Thank you.
What's stunning... ...is that you're a simply stunning reviewer, tombarber21! There's Anthony Bourdain for food - and you for this other stuff.
No, i would say more like camp fire smoke with incense thrown in That being said I would go to Min New York online store and get their bespoke sample set. Order samples of Jub and Interlude. You get several of your choice to try for a good price
Ada - let me know what you think of Interlude Woman. I've never heard so much positive talk on this one. I haven't sniffed it.
Great review for a masterpiece in his kind.
Awesome rev, thank you so much !!!
It is an amazing scent Boo
Hey man. They are two different animals. Jub XXV has almost a fruit liqueur/incense feel whereas this one is more smokey/leather/incense. I would be hard pressed to pick which I like more.

I'm going to blind buy this Interlude man will let you how I get on with it.

It is the gold standard of modern perfumery IMO.

silverss onyoutube the dry down of interlude is indeed sweet with the amber that gives this vanilla smell
The dry down is just mind blowing honestly and it last for days
It amazing isn't it. I love it

Thanks man
What's your Top 3 Favorite Amouage Fragrance ?
12-28-13

they said =mmm vanilla and smoke or something, just kept sniffing it
number 1 - interlude. 2 - leather oud 3 - tv
