Buck really is a figure. He is a small weasel in a world full of huge animals 40 times his height and not only manages to be iconic, but also plays with danger and survives these reptiles that could kill him in less than a second!
Considering he managed to fight off that fucking demonic Spinosaurus (thats what I assume Rudy is) TWICE, he should be able to get the jump on anything.
This first part with buck is really the only scene I enjoy of this film because it feels like ice age 3 again, but after he leaves it to join the main cast he feels a bit too extra especially with the pumpkin thing

I’ve finally watched all the Ice Age films on Disney Plus and they’re a lot of fun to watch. I don’t know what I think about Collision Course but I loved the first 4 films. This scene though, I arguably think it’s my favorite scenes because it’s a comeback of the gravitas towards classical music in earlier cartoons of the 20s to the 50s. It definitely has made me come back to listening to Figaro’s Aria from The Barber of Seville, because it’s repeating and memorable and mostly difficult to sing along to. I love it.
Another roast: “It’s a good thing you got your mother’s eyes, or you’d be TOTALLY useless!” At least Gavin and Gertie changed in the end. My favorite Gavin quote: “We’ll be as safe as those birds up there! (Bird gets hit by flaming space rock) Lucky shot. (More birds get hit) Very lucky shot?” (KABOOM!)
I don't like this weasel, Reepicheep from The Chronicles of Narnia 2 and 3 is better, he is like Puss in Boots and Spiderman, but other heroes like Po 🐼 the dragon warrior, Manny the Woolly Mammoth 🦣, Baymax the robot and Caesar the chimpanzee
