Great video! One very small error I caught.
On the sizing neutral conductor question, the dishwasher watts in the question was 1,100 watts. When you calculated all the loads, you put the dishwasher at 1,200 watts.
Luckily the answer was still the same at 64amps 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
These videos have been sooooo helpful!

Wonderful to see a day in the life of you! I ordered the 2017 book and tabs from you yesterday, but I’d LOVE the 2020 book. I got the 2017 bc that’s what the test is on down here in Louisiana, but if I got the 2020, I’d gift my 2017 to the next person I meet who needs a book to study from. Your energy and enthusiasm is sincere and infectious and I have no doubt it’s driving the next generation of electricians. I wish my dad taught me about electrical work when I was 9! But we all figure out our own path eventually. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and story with us.

On the voltage drop, I find it easier to remember to use √3, instead of 1.73. It's 3 phase, so √3, which is where the 1.73 comes from.

I agree! I train you on the 1.732 because depending on what type of calculator you have that button is not going to be present inside the test!

Great content! I have a question on your first portion of this video involving neutral load calcs...
When adding your 2 small appliance and 1 laundry circuit to the calc, why are you not adding the bathroom and garage circuit to this calculation as well? this has me confused! Thanks for the help! I am a pro member, getting ready to take my master's license test!

The Voltage Drop Calculation questions didn't say if it is single or three phase, how do you know it's three phase system?

Thanks a lot coach. I appreciate your work. I just have a question at 31:25 do we also add the largest motor at 0.25 code reference 220.50/430.24?

Great videos and I really appreciate the info and effort you put in but through this experience I've come to realize that this code book is a convoluted f*****g mess. With my test looming over me, I've never been more discouraged and in the field, I run circles, mentally and physically, on most of the guys I've worked with. This is ridiculous, its no wonder that the failure rate for this test in the state of Utah is over 50%.

Videos are good, but, just maybe to do with your editing process but there's a good number of data gaps, audience already knows assumptions, or just glossing over, that definitely keeps me kinda stumbling, feeling lost. I keep having to reorient myself, and kind of declare to myself, "okay he's not actually teaching this in a way that can be learned, will have to file this under useless until further research is done" Example:
"Let's learn how to do voltage drop calc's with three phase" [cool!]
"So it's very similar..." [similar to what? we haven't been talking about anything related...?]
"you just change one of the values... because the nature of three phase..." [What value? How are we changing it? why are we discussing this now? Where am I?]
I concede you might get to these points later, or they might be in a different video, but the material is not in the best sequence.
Overall, really good content, it is helping for sure. Just constructive criticism for whatever is down the line.
