भारत के परमाणु नीति का आधार नो फर्स्ट यूज यानि पहले उपयोग नहीं करने का रहा है। भारत की परमाणु नीति का ताना-बाना दरअसल उसकी विदेश नीति, ऊर्जा जरूरतों और राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा को पूरा करने का रहा है। भारत ने बकायदा 2003 में अपनी परमाणु नीति घोषित की जिसमें सुरक्षा के लिए न्यूनतम परमाणु क्षमता के विकास की बात कही गई। साथ कहा गया कि भारत परमाणु हथियारों का प्रयोग पहले नहीं करेगा लेकिन हमला होने की सूरत में करारा जवाब देगा। देखिए विशेष में भारत की परमाणु नीति की पूरी दास्तान....
