Throw Rowley no, I probably put 200 hours into Siege of Shanghai alone and still enjoy it, but I’m bored stiff of every map in BFV and I probably haven’t even played 50 hours of it
I think my dream battlefield is the bf4 and bf3 maps but bf3's progression system. Ditch the loot crates, get rid of the random weapon unlocks, alot of players are waiting for a game thats forces us to progress and put in the work for the weapons via challenges, utilizing team communication again. Maybe also change the time to kill similar to how BF4's hardcore TTK was and actually make hardcore mode hardcore die one or two bullets type of thing. If they bring back true progression and challenge in an AAA fps title they could possibly win an award. I may be crazy but i remember the way BF3 made me feel and i looked forward to logging in. I didnt buy BF1's dlcs, but did give the basegame a try for months. Went south. Idk how bf5 is so i cant speak on it, but i imagine its similar in terms of just handing the player things and increasing ttk with weapon nerfs. Beautiful games no doubt but the gameplay has to be just as pleasing as the visuals otherwise its just a work in progress til the next title comes out. God i miss these games

I remember getting a random email back in the day for the BF3 alpha completely out of nowhere. Didn't sign up for it or anything. I don't think I have ever been more pleasantly surprised in my life. I remember telling my friends and they absolutely didn't believe me until they came over. We took turns playing operation metro all day and night. those damn long necks running around lmao. Such a great time in my life those days.
I Went back and played BF4 a couple of weeks ago and I had forgotten how good Battlefield games used to be..............the sounds of the Plans, Helicopters, Tanks etc. really made you feel you where part of a battle, something I think BFV is missing..

When you were prone with the pick up sniper and heard the footsteps, I instinctively glanced at the mini map. God I miss this game and miss my PC so much.
i bought it on premium on 9th of November and played it till 9th of December, didnt buy it. First 3,4 days it was cool, but then i become so dull and repetitive it feels so forced, not too mentions a lot of bugs and bf3 like netcode.
Gotta love them true sniper moments out in the mountains on this map, I don't care what people say it's seriously fun to role-play as a long range sniper once in a while
I remember a 1600 ticket lobby and i went on a 50+ kill streak with the ssr, ended the game with 117 kills. Man that game was legendary coz we won with 15 tickets to spare. God i miss this game
The L115 was an update on the L96a1, with a folding stock, updated optic, and the improvements developed for the Arctic Warfare. Interestingly, the L96 was actually based on the Accuracy International PM which was later developed into the AW, rather than the other way around like many think.

Jack, the reason they changed the name was because they changed the round it fired. Used to fire .308 which is what the L96 fires using a 10rnd mag. Now, it fires a .338 Lapua with a 5rnd mag and has longer range as a result of the caliber change. The L96 and L115 are the same weapon platform modified to use different rounds. The weapon model we see in the game is the L115, which may be a reason they decided to change the name in order to match the model being used. Think they made this change initially to make the weapon stand out more and be less redundant as well as to fill a different niche alongside the .338 Recon and GOL Magnum which are the aggressive play style high caliber snipers. Though, they made the L115 almost act as a bridge weapon between the conservative long range and aggressive medium range snipers, as it can do both very well. Objectively one of the best rifles Recon has access to, and subjectively one of the coolest and well implemented weapons in the entire game.

The L96 and L115 are two different guns. The 96 being known commercially as the PM series and the 115 as the AW series. There are two major varients of the AW series the AWM, the slightly more famous AWP.
