I'm so excited to see this show when I go to SeaWorld on my Bday! It looks like a very fun show! I kind of feel like they should have included Sir Winston Walrus and Virgil Pelican!
Agreed! I even mentioned it to the management I saw after the show and told them they should have added Sir Winston…he would have been the showstopper of the show.
When they sing We Built this City, it reminds me when the Muppets, sang it, when they cleaned the theater after reuniting in the 2011 movie The Muppets
I truly doubt it. SeaWorld has turned the page on using the Shamu name and his friends. They don’t ever use the word Shamu except in rare cases like this retro nostalgia show which is for a limited time. It ties them back to the days of blackfish and SeaWorld is more and more turning into a rollercoaster park. So the characters are here to stay at SeaWorld but in minor capacity in my opinion
@@tinsote7176 I would agree with that thought. I personally want the Shamu character /name to continue but I do know on good grounds that SeaWorld really walks a fine line with it. But honestly that is a good thought
Yes some of the songs played are from older Shamu show songs from years past. Also there are 2 SeaWorld versions of “Help from my friends” - The Beatles and “We Built This city” - Starship.

No, Shamu is the star
@@jaceWorl Agree. I just think Sir Winston would have been a real treat to add to the show if possible
@@BigRedJourneys did they tell you the reason why they don’t have Sir Winston?

Yes! The 80s montage segment with Starship was my favorite part!!
@@BigRedJourneys WOW! You sure are a true Starship fan... even though we are also fans and we are all Beatlemania!!!!!!!
Amazing about how well the crew performed.
They were certainly light on their feet...i mean fins.
I love you didn’t sell his brother also I love Shamu I’m glad they fly back. Shamu
Yay! SeaWorld brought back Shamu shows! (sorta).
Yay indeed. Even if it is just the costume character version of him. Hopefully they will bring back more elements of Shamu for the future
Omg they used side by side from one ocean! Oddly poetic considering shamu was the one singing it
Right?!?! That was a very cool touch!
I know they used side-by-side and they they use the one ocean Annie’s shamrock all my favorite songs I love Shamu

Can’t wait to see this!!
It’s a very very cute show and the Easter eggs throwbacks they have to older shows is wonderful!
Do these songs sounds familiar?

Doesn't there arms hurt like this?
I don’t know. I’d imagine they train to be able to move and dance like that
