It was designed to attach to the fuel canisters that have to be punctured or the threaded canisters. MSR just want you to buy their gas. When the superfly came out, that was the big marketing selling point. That you can use it with both types of canisters for international travel. That is the whole reason to GET one. The puncture cans used to be more available than they are today, but are still used overseas. And in developing countries.
I think you did a great job on the video… Your audio and everything was done really well however 15 minutes to boil water no matter the circumstances is a fail for the product.
Dale Thomas Hi there! Thanks for watching. I agree with you on the 15 minute boil time. I tested this stove in the summer time and it only took 6 minutes to boil. I think the fuel gets cold and doesn't burn properly when it is freezing. I will only be using this in the summer from now on! Thanks for the comment :)!

These canisters stoves do not work well in the winter period. Second that was a big pan of water nothing like what a backpacker would be boiling.
