I'm currently scouring the depths of the internet for a tutorial on how to set 16 or 32 beat loops on this controller but I can't seem to find that info anywhere... I know with other controllers you can shift the loop section up or down but I can't seem to figureout how to shift the loops from 1, 2, 4, & 8... Ideally I'd like my autoloop buttons to loop section sizes 4, 8, 16, & 32 but I can only do it from my laptop currently & it's super impractical working off my laptop all night, as I tend to loop 2 - 4 Bars / 16-32 beats most often... Please help!!
A question to air to see if anyone has an answer, I have Serato DJ and I do not want to use the Serato dj intro, how can I do to make my SB2 work with Serato DJ without buying the version that Serato sells, because I already have Serato DJ but does not recognize the driver ......... THANKS
this is by far the best tutorial of the DDJ Pioneer, I have a question what would buying an M audio trigger finger pro dj add to to the DDJ SB2? do you reckon it is necessary to buy it? because I am looking to create the music from scratch not solely focus on mixing
Thanks! Regarding the M audio trigger finger, I don't see why you couldn't get one next to the SB2, or any midi controller for Ableton really. They don't really mix & match on a hardware or software level really but they can co-exist in a rig for sure. Hope this helps.
I'm having problems connnecting the DDJ-SB2 to Serato DJ? One computer says that it has error #4 on it, and the other one says that the hardware is loading into the software but it doesn't show the two decks on Serato DJ. Do you think it's the computers that are too old to load up the new controller? Both of the computers are between 2009 and 2011 and they're both Macs, and have OS X El Capitan. Do you have any tips on how to get it to work on Serato DJ?
DjTechZone But here's the next problem, if we want to use them for Serato DJ, it won't work because we need to either activate it or pay 129 dollars just for the features to be done on Serato DJ. Is there a way around it without paying that much to get Serato DJ?

Your computers are certainly not tool old.. Make sure you have the latest version of Serato DJ, older versions will not support the SB2 properly.

you can get everything you need online on the Pioneer DJ website
quick question: can you change the pitch range, or is it a limited range?
+djandrewmichael you can change it but only in the software not from the controller itself
by holding [SHIFT]( on your controller) + [KeyLock] you can adjust the Pitchrange
