Hello, is there a way to change the text in the tooltip that pops up if the user doesn't tick the box? It says "please tick this box if you want to proceed", I need to add some text in there. Thanks!
Like how you created another post to create those hyperlinks, do you have to save that post? Or it’s fine if we can just discard or remove it, because I believe, I need you only created to get the HTML code.
Thanks for the hack with generating html code for acceptance in the post section! That was very helpful! You should add "how to change color on acceptance text in Elementor Form" to your tags
Hi Benjamin and sorry for the late reply! If your theme is getting the styles from the theme settings, you'd have to go to your customize menu (inside the wp dashboard) and play around with the colour setting there. If the styles are coming from Elementor, same again, but you'd do that inside Elementor. You could also use a CSS tool like Visual Inspector (chrome plugin) to hover your cursor over the hyperlinks and change the CSS code to make it whatever colour you want, then save the CSS snippet and paste it in your Customise / Scripts section. I hope this helps!
@@betterwordpresswithhoz9871 I can't see the pop up in my incognito window . It's been published and I've added the display settings? Have I missed out a step? Do you have a tutorial? Thanks!
Sounds like a cache issue. Try a different browser. If not, do contact Elementor support as they will troubleshoot it for you. Let me know if that works.
Great tutorial. The only downside is that the newer version of Elementor Pro changed some of the settings for the form fields. They don't quite match this recent video but if you look, you can find them. They do sometimes have different setting names. Thank you for the education.
Nice video, but, how to set a select field as a required field? Since we have to add options into any select field, so, this Elementor thinks the first option is currently selected and ignore the required action. Also, there is no placeholder option for a select field in Elementor, so that this form will know that, no option is selected and trigger the required error/action. So, how to fix this issue? Thanks!
Title is misleading. He doesn't explain how to make a checkbox field required in Elementor. This will just be useful if you are dealing with only one checkbox option which can be substituted by an acceptance box
I demonstrate exactly how to do that starting at 2:29 - also the intro of the video explains that in this tutorial I'm demonstrating how to create a checkbox on an Elementor form that's set to required, therefore the title is perfectly aligned with the tutorial. To answer your question: "how to make a checkbox field required" = add a new field, set to acceptance and toggle the required button to 'on', as shown in the video.
@@betterwordpresswithhoz9871 The language is certainly misleading since an acceptance box is a different option from a checkbox in Elementor, thus the two different options. The option Checkbox in Elementor cannot be made required except with code, and you don't explain that
@@SuperEliasc Hi Elias. There's no code needed to make a checkbox required - the tutorial shows how you just check a box to make it required. Let me know if you don't see this, and I'll take a look and find it. I think we may be getting crossed wires about the acceptance box / checkbox. Essentially, it's a checkbox (since you need to check it) but you change the 'type' to acceptance in Elementor. The way it's set out in Elementor, 'acceptance' is a 'type' or adjective describing the functionality of the checkbox. I hope that makes sense.
I'm sorry to hear that. The title reflects what people are searching for. Most people don't know it's called an acceptance box. My video is aimed at those people, and it has helped many of them. Sorry to hear it didn't help you.

Thank you. This was very straightforward and easy.

Hey. How can you align the text with the checkbox? the text is a little bit more down than the checkbox. It happens the same with me.

Very useful tutorial but I have a problem: the acceptance square is not displayed. Does anyone know why this happens?

Is it possible to change the font size of the acceptance box text?

I just want to put button send next field input and check box required under field input! can you show me?
Hey Thea, some elements are organised in a set way, so we can't drag certain elements on top of others.

Any idea what the css is to change the colour of the ticked box? My site is pastel colours and the blue looks so wrong. Thanks!
that is not an Elementor checkbox. that is an acceptance form
Why is the checkbox not showing up when I do this?
Did you fix this? Try a different browser to make sure it's not a cache issue.

It's not a checkbox selection from Elementor Form, Its an acceptance checkbox, clickbait title. Bad bad instructions and wasting of time.
