Ich muss zuerst VIELEN DANK sagen! Ich bin ein Tenor und ich habe so oft mit deinem Video geübt, die gefällt mir ganz gut! Aber ich muss auch leider sagen, wie ein paar Leute gesagt haben, ist diese stück zu schnell, man kann nicht in Deine Tempo singen😂 ich hoffe, vielleicht kannst du bisschen langsam spielen, wenn du Zeit hast! Not only listend but just did a big whole production of Cenerentola. Both our tenors were able to sing this tempo. Tempo question is very individual ;-)
@js59695 Maybe. But none of the great versions of the great singers are in this tempo . Not Araiza, not Florez, not Blake, not Edgardo Rocha, not Michael Spyres. Maybe Bogdan Mihai can. Itś not only a matter of general tempo, but for example, the time that gives you to get down from the Cs. In a better comprehension of how in this case, tenor voice works, in my opinion, it's too fast.

Coincido, no todos los tenores podemos cantar a esa velocidad, a veces rápido no significa mejor.

It's funny that so many tenors here say it is too fast, but I bet that a lot of directors will argue that is a fantastic tempo.

As a professional singer I must say that this accompaniment is useless if you don't have a pianist available, it is devilishly fast. The Rossinian repertoire is already vocally demanding and 99% of the tenors, including myself, are almost impossible to sing, Rossini's grace is to demonstrate mastery of coloraturas but not in an exaggerated way.
Well, the agilità is too fast. Funny, but not tasty. This elegante music, in the Dolce speranza part, it's more similar to a pre-Donizzetian walz with the choir. Elegant, not giddy. Sometimes singers need to breath or to indulge in a very little trattenuto in order to set the throat before a High C. That micro second, guarantee us not only to produce a good sound but to interpretate in a better way the music and It creates in the audience a sort of expectation that makes more interesting the performance. Than, you can surely make an accellerando to return into the tempo. Thanks, for your patience. E
