I was so enamored with Wonder Woman that I never noticed any bloopers. Thank you, for keeping Wonder Woman relevant, fun, and adding more memories to my childhood heroine.
Haha! I always noticed how her heels would suddenly change to flats when she was running. Or how the underwater scenes were always filmed in an obvious swimming pool.
I love wonder woman to this day. Funny how what's so obvious now wasn't noticed at all when watching as a child. I still wouldn't have noticed had not been for this video. Technology has come a long way. Thank you for the great video.
3:05 They reused the first transformation again from the first episode, but the second transformation in the second episode was a different approach altogether, though filmed during the same shooting day (hence why both transformations have her missing her bracelets). The two specials were shot in the same production block, as if functionally they were one long episode as it were -- all the office scenes, for instance, for both episodes were shot in the same day/couple of days. 9:00 In context, her spinning and initiating her transformation frees her via the burst of light/thunderclap; the frame-by-frame analysis of course reveals that Lynda, as an actress, is of course not tied that way for the spin, but when viewed at normal speed is intended to show the magic of the transformation itself as freeing her. (Sidenote: though only notable in retrospect, while the burst of light is something that occurs within the world of the show, the thunderclap is actually non-diegetic and only is "audible" to the viewing audience; also, the light burst is supposed to only be visible/perceivable if being directly observed -- if you were facing away from it, it doesn't illuminate anything in-world for you to see/note with any sense of its "light" from behind you -- it's just a magical manifestation, or was intended to be such from a production-as-metaphysical POV.)
I’m 56 and I don’t want to know how they did anything. I’m curious but she and Lindsay Wagner were my heroes growing up, I just wanna have my memories 😂😂👍🏾
This was before vcr's were affordable so it was a lot easier to get away with these flubs, and some are forgivable since they clearly didn't have a budget for multiple stunt takes. But that one with the picture that's a still of the woman from the next scene, that had me laughing for ten minutes! It's an all time classic, great catch! Last thing, that dirt bike over the van stunt was DANGEROUS. It's amazing the risk that the stunt people take, they s/b celebrated so much more than they ever are...
Only around 99.9, but the rest was all story and plot. Imagine every episode with nothing changed at all except the lead played by a young Kathy Bates, a contemporary Ruth Buzzy, . It becomes self evident.

Glad to find your channel. Very entertaining and informative content here. I actually noticed some of these goofs when I watched the BluRay DVDs, apparently the HD made the mistakes clearer to see! Lol
There's a goof you missed. In the clip from Seance of Terror where the elderly couple walking towards Diana suddenly disappears so does the white car that was in front of Diana!
I've seen these episodes dozens of times, but you revealed some hard to spot details that I missed over the years. Good job. During the original broadcasts, the viewer simply didn't register stuff like changes of environment (sunlight position, etc) when Diana transformed into Wonder Woman. But I used to take pictures with a Kodak 126 camera right off the screen back then, & noticed that the costume changes outdoors were clearly shot at different times of the day. The best example of this is in the first Andros episode (Judgement from Outer Space). She spins around behind some trees in what appears to be early morning, but after the flash, the light is dramatically brighter from a different angle, late in the day. That's the sort of fun, inconsequential trivia I enjoy discovering, & why I appreciate this channel as well.
Thanks, that reminds me before the VCR I used to tape the sound from cartoon shows on one of those old tape recorders. VCRs became like the best invention in the world to me when they came out.
@@tvcrazyman Agreed! Once VCR's became affordable, that is. This comment is spot on!! I remember watching these episodes on a 9-inch black and white TV when I was 7 because that was the only way I could watch it. This brings back so many memories that are ingrained in my head, because several of my cousins were visiting and I demanded that we watch this show. My Grandmother and Mom were in the room as all the kids sat around watching the pilot and My Mom would notice these exact same things, but said nothing, because we were just glued to that tiny screen and loving it! But even as a kid, I always noticed that she had something in her hand and that her boots were sometimes flats. When I said something to My Mom, she was said, "Son, as a woman, I would love if my shoes could change when needed. She's 'Magic', stop thinking about it!"

If you watch the background there apparently wasn't very many cars in DC during the 1970s. I'm a third generation Nova lover, and there was one that seemed to go a lot of the same places as Diana Prince
You missed a blooper from The Deadly Toys ! When the toy , but Deadly cannon that had killed a man before , fires at Wonder Woman , she catches the Deadly cannonball and loses her Magic Bracelet on her right wrist as she catches the cannonball !!!😂 Love your videos !!😊🎉
HEY, TV CRAZY MAN, This was really good. I like your explanations. I wouldn't know what to look for if you didn't narrate in the video. In the comics, superheroes in action have no background at all in their panels ( or just talking. I guess they’re a celebrating the comics in the show 😂)
That also reminded me of the 1966-68 animated series Marvel Super Heroes, in which there were moments in which the heroes were in action with no backgrounds at all!
You said that they used the same shot from when she transforms but from different camera angles. Look at the jacket that she’s holding on her right arm. The sleeve swings around her on one angle, and doesn’t on the other. But it’s really close and I had to look at it a few times. 3:05 But, great job. I would have missed a few of those for sure.
Wowzers! The continuity people were really asleep at the wheel the entire time this show was in production. And how did the camera men not see their co-workers and trailers and such in the shot?
Remember that this was the early years of syndication/reruns and long before the concepte of VCRs, home video, and streaming. TV producers back then saw tv shows as ephemeral and really didn't expect that anyone would be analyzing them for flaws almost 50 years later.
The Anschluss episode had a sign at the Nazi base "WandschrankgeschloBenzimmer". Although this perplexed me at first as a German speaker; I broke down the compounded word: Wall Cabinet Locked Room = locker room. In modern German it's known as "Waechselzimmer" (change room). The evil Nazis in this episode also drilled the US Army way with American Legion uniforms. Thanks for pointing out the 1970's haircuts. I used to hate this when Hollywood could not get this right.
This was so awesome to watch I always remember the heels disappearing when she was running. And that toy plane 🤦🏻♂️ Your commentary was really fuming. Especially trying to pronounce Formica….. you know…. that word 🤣

Here I thought I was crazy for noticing these things, thank you for validating my sanity!
I think I lived somewhere in between, knowing superhero shows were make believe on one hand and on the other being able to pretend they were real on some other level for the sake of having fun.
As a young teen, i was beyond disappointed when the network(s) did the final cancellation of the series. Lynda was perfectly cast. Only in Hollywood would such a NATURALLY beautiful woman and opportunity get tossed away so carelessly. Theres never been another so perfect for the role.
In the Starships are Coming, Diana is tied up to the chair, and her ankles are bound. When the guy who rescues her finds her, her ankles are not bound. When he runs to untie her, her ankles are bound again.
17:17 I would be pretty surprised if those 2 shots even happened on the same day. Seems more likely that she came to set in "Diana Prince" hair, makeup and (technically) costume on one day, and came to set in "Wonder Woman" hair, makeup and costume on another day. Doesn't seem like the kind of thing they'd try and redo over lunch.
Imagine how different her character would be if she had been named with the synonyms, Philosophy Woman, Imagining Woman, Curious Woman. To each their own, but Philosophy Woman actually still has a lot of potential. Imagine Woman, no way, too provocative. Curious Woman? Tautological.
Now, I'll have to go rewatch and see if I can spot these and more...I will say that on the Feminum Mystic there's a lot that didn't make sense logically in those episodes, there's also a goof when the Nazis reach Paradise Island
Well, apparently Lynda did not want to do the comic book style Wonder Woman, she wanted her Wonder Woman to be fighting the REAL evils of the world. But the producers said no, so they kept to the comic book style of production. Debra Winger said she made a mistake taking that part, as it turned out to be something she hated. They had a very hard time with her Wonder spin, because she couldn't spin. She couldn't rotate herself in a circle at all. And it took many, many takes for them just to get one good shot of her spin, because she just couldn't do it. Many special effects were reused over and over again to save money. And it took around 3 hours for her to physically changed from Diana Prince to Wonder Woman, with the costume, hair, and makeup being switched. Thats why when she spins it can be light out, but when the flash is gone, there's shadows behind her. All the other stuff is pretty much self explanitory, as they really put most of their budget into the action sequences and cut costs on simple scenes. Thanks for this video!!! I love Wonder Woman and Lynda Carter!!!
I did wonder if Debra Winger couldn't spin or if she was doing it awkwardly on purpose to fit her younger character because she definitely didn't do it as good as Lynda Carter.
No comment about how Debra Winger couldn’t spin in place? If you watch Lynda Carter, she uses both feet to rotate her body around. Winger, on the other hand, plants one foot in place as a pivot point and uses the other leg to go around it.
You know I thought her spin was so bad that Winger was doing it that way on purpose for her character, but now I think she probably wasn't able to do the spin like Lynda Carter.
How about how her lasso was golden….and the bad guys would run close enough to be lassoed together….and it was suddenly just a regular rope….and when Wonder Woman caught up to them….it was the golden lasso again.
How about the guy with the beard that was her stunt double when she was riding on top of a van using her lasso as reins? You can actually see his full beard.
You forgot to mention that un The return of Wonder Woman part 2, before Doctor Solano and Gloria escaped Wonder Woman throw the robot into the mine which was replaced with a dummy and in the episodes Formicida and The Man who would not tell , the some building can be seen.
You are right. I had that robot clip all ready to go too, and I literally forgot to talk about it. I must have forgot to write it in my notes. That was a good one too.
Yeah, I know she was in the same kind of competition to get the belt and right to go to America. At least, I think it was the same kind of situation as Diana, except she didn't disguise herself.
6:41 It seems that most shows made in the 1970s, but set in earlier times, didn't bother changing the hairstyles to try to match the era they were portraying. I can understand the actors probably didn't want to cut their hair for a role, but they could have at least parted it differently to make it look more vintage. This episode went even further and didn't even try to dress the kids to make it look like they were in the 1940s. Those shirts scream the 70s.
Yeah, they really didn't want to cut their hair back then even for parts. Now you have actors that will even gain and lose massive amounts of weight for a role or shave their heads bald.
@@michaelleary9233 Yeah, Happy Days got progressively worse in that regard the longer it was on. Same with Laverne & Shirley, MASH, and Little House on the Prairie.
I still love this show
Thanks to Lynda Carter we didn't notice that many mistakes on Wonder Woman.

Obvious blooper where would her purse go when Diana transformed to Wonder Woman?
loved it too she was soo pretty
Her costume got skimpier as the seasons progressed. Yeah as a teenager I definitely noticed such things. 😅

@@tvcrazyman Lynda had dance lessons. Debra never had any. Plus, her balance was off, so thats why it was hard for her do so something like that.
That woman that she found should have been the cheetah.
she is absolutely beautiful. still is
4:24 bro😂😂
I was too focused on Linda Carter to notice the continuity mistakes and the not so special effects back in those days.
The time bomb episode the spaceship is over moonbase alpha from space 1999 so did they go back to 1999 front 2155
Adoraba esta serie cuando era niño!!
Igual no me gustó cuando la otra mujer derribó a wonder woman con una patada😜😜
I "wonder" how Lynda "wonders" about the time she watches this video.
One of the biggest gaffes was how everyone in the cast consistently mispronounced the town Bladensburg, which is just outside of DC in Maryland.
How did Drusilla became Wonder girl? did she receive a golden belt and lasso like Diana did?
Hey, after a decade of Happy Days doing it, not bad for one season on WW.
@@michaelleary9233 Yeah, Happy Days got progressively worse in that regard the longer it was on. Same with Laverne & Shirley, MASH, and Little House on the Prairie.
It looks so hokey compared to what they can do today. Haha
