This Sicily series is well narrated. I remember visiting here many years ago sometime around 2007…. That tree gives me goosebumps 7:45. I remember the hotel room was and the elevator look like it can only hold 1 occupant.

Everything in Europe has changed since then. It was starting in 2017 with the mass migration allowed by Angela Merkel in Germany. Italy was overrun. Much more crime. You name it. So glad I got over there when I did.

Thank you, Charles!! I wish I could get back down to TN, but don't know. What's the weather like now at your place?

So beautiful! Nice to travel along with you and learn so many new and interesting facts about Sicily which I was not aware.

Well, it's interesting, isn't it? I didn't have time to learn the history until I was home putting it together. I thought about just images and music (and cricket sound, of course) but my sound editor said she'd like to know the history of the place. She made a good call.

Wow what a garden, I didn't expected a banyan tree in Italy. This particular tree germinates only on a host tree and then establish its roots. Our school had almost a hundred year old tree that was chopped down for additions, there are a few hundred years old tree still thriving in Lahore. One of my own favorite painting was traditional wrestlers practicing under a huge banyan tree outside north-eastern wall of Shalimar garden. (The painting was left behind in 1992, and lost since)
Interestingly red ring parakeet have a deep relationship with banyan, sacred fig (Ficus religiosa, a tree that produces oxygen 24/7) and mangos.
I once send my greetings to the hundreds of parrots having burrows in a mud wall at Aaroop village Gujranwala Pakistan.

That is so amazing!! Thank you for sharing that! I hope others watching the video read this! Yes, I learned more about the garden after I got home. Our blitz to see as much as we could in three days was non-stop. And didn't realize the banyon tree I saw the first day in Part 1 (watch again and you see a photo of it) is even larger than THIS one! Many thanks for your support of this channel!! When you write, please "greetings from _________" and remind me where you are again. So hard to keep all this in my head.

Kaye Kittrell | Late Bloomer Urban Organic Garden Show oops I meant Greatest Outdoor Show on earth. It's fair, exhibition, rodeo, chuckwagon races, 100 year old show mostly associated with horse and cattle sports. Almost a million people visit us from first Friday of July to next Sunday.
Personally I never attend in 22 years, this year I am planning to attend it as by end of the year I may move to San Diego.

An outstanding educational video. Orto Botanico Garden is interesting and beautiful. You did a great well researched enthralling commentary with superb diction and tone. I loved the video. Perhaps you can find places of interest around LA to film (if it's allowed) Well done Kaye.

OH, THANK YOU, Patrick!! Please share with your English garden friends. It's so much closer to you than me! And I would recommend going more in the summer when lots of things are in bloom and the sun is shining! Thanks again! I'll see what audience I can attract online first, but will think about your suggestion.
