So, we'll have two languages in class 11th, just like we have in class 10th right now. If you opt for Sanskrit or any Indian language (including your mother tongue but not Hindi), you won't have to study Hindi. Otherwise, you have to study Hindi in class 11th again. I am from Odisha and can speak two languages - Hindi and Odia (the language of Odisha). The problem with me is that I can't write or read Odia because I've been learning Hindi since I was 5-6 years old due to frequent transfers between regions, mainly in Hindi-speaking areas. Ironically, my weakest subject is Hindi O_o I'm thinking of taking Sanskrit in class 11th, but I don't know the basics of it :(
