オーストラリアの北東部にある世界最大のサンゴ礁地帯「グレート・バリア・リーフ」。全長2300kmに渡り、無数のサンゴ礁が帯状に連なっています。そこは、絶景の宝庫。
海の中は、カラフルな魚たちが泳ぐ命の楽園。神秘感溢れるサンゴ島の景観、年に一度 生命の大イベント「サンゴの一斉産卵」映像もお届けします！
海の上には、950もの島が浮かんでいます。その島のひとつに、なんと世界で一番美しいと言われる純白のビーチもありました！純白の砂でできた島もあります。
そして、グレート・バリア・リーフには、空から見ないと分からない景観も！海の中にサンゴ礁が描く模様に、純白の砂とコバルトブルーの水が作るマーブル模様。そして沖合60kmに突如現れる白波！白波の真下にはサンゴ礁。
そのサンゴ礁のまるで壁、防波堤のように海中で続いていました。そして、その白波こそがグレート・バリア・リーフの成り立ちと関係がありました。

A place to visit once in a lifetime! The most beautiful beach in the world
The Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef area, is located in the northeast of Australia. Stretching for 2,300 km, it contains countless coral reefs strung out like a belt. It is a treasure trove of spectacular scenery.
In the sea, colorful fish swim in this paradise of life. Above the sea, there are heavenly beaches said to be the most beautiful in the world and islands made of pure white sand.
And then there is the magnificent view of the Great Barrier Reef that can only be seen from the sky!
The coral reefs form patterns in the ocean, and the pure white sand and cobalt blue water form marble patterns. And 60 kilometers offshore, whitecaps suddenly appear! The whitecaps have something to do with the formation of the Great Barrier Reef.
