The Packers hadn't won a Super Bowl in 30 years before Brett came. The last SB win, my dad was just a kid. When they won in 96, he told me how special it was to watch the Packer glory with me...because it was the kid in him coming out again, and we owe a lot of it to Brett. My dad's been dead for five years this April, not a day goes by I don't think about or miss him, and thanks to you, Brett, you've given me lots of great memories with my father. Thank you does not do justice to what I feel.
Brett Favre is idolized by so many people (including me) because everyone can relate to him.... He struggled with a addiction, something that either us or at least 1 of our family members have struggled with (my bro was addicted to coke).
my brother's best friend played with Brett in the 2005 season & says Brett is really like this, Brett would say the most random stuff on the sidelines & was just a all round funny guy, even when they had a bad season, Brett always keep his cool, he was really well liked by the players/coaches & fans in Green Bay now i know why
"Those are some tight pants you got on there bubba" Lol this guy is so funny and a great player, truly one of the most entertaining players ever to watch and one of the best things to ever happen for sports! I want him to play for as long as he can!
Brett Favre is Amazing. Seeing what this man has gone through and how he has always bounced back is simply amazing. At the same time he has all the stats to back up his greatness. He is simply a true legend!!!!
I am going to miss you, Brett! You always made the game so fun to watch, and I loved your 4th quarter comebacks. You brought back the greatness of Packers football and we are forever grateful!
Great Video of a "Great Quarterback"... Arguably "One Of The Best Ever" If not "The Best"... True He won only "One Championship"... (Can't judge The whole Career just on "Rings") But He had the Intangibles of: Toughness... Passion... Attitude... Team Spirit... Fearless Approach... He did Much more with lesser talent... Made everyone around him much better... Playing to win rather than "Not to loose"... If there was an opportunity "TO WIN" He "TOOK THE CHANCE"... (Hence the INT's)... I became a "Packer" Because of You "Brett"... Love & Respect ALWAYS...
We will not see another player with this tenacity, carelessness, strenght and love for football til our great grandchildren's kids start watching this great game. Favre will be missed...
Brett, i was born in green bay in 71 i didn't know a good packer team in my lifetime until you showed up. Brett Favre is the only 3 time MVP winner and you are one of the top 10 football players of all time. We will miss you but celebrate your legacy at the same time. Good luck to your future and see you at Canton, Ohio.
this video made me freakin cry... I look up to favre. and it just dosnt look right seeing his in a jets jersey. he was the greatest player to ever play that posistion.
I'm from NYC, saw every Jets game this year- this guy is amazing, no QB lifts his teammates like Brett, NO -BODY! And those laser throws, NO-BODY throws em like that, it's a thrill to watch him. If he goes to Vikes, I'll watch every game!
much props to one of the best QB's in my lifetime, i hated him when he played my niners...but he has my respect, he played the game how it should be played....real humble and gave it all he had! from a niner fan!
Love him or hate him, have to appreciate him. A living legend. Cherish his play so you can tell your grandkids that "I got to watch Brett Favre play football."
I bet it was a blast to actually play with the guy... Career Interception record or not...he loved to play. And I bet it spread to the people around him.
Of the twelve thousand things I love about Brett Favre, reading the haters is one of them. Either you love him or he got under your skin. Works for me either way.
ah... thanks for putting this up! loved it... football will never be the same. and neither will the packers. thanks for a great run, brett! 4EVER in out hearts♥
Couldn't agree more. I'm not a diehard Packer fan, but Brett's definitely one of the better all-time players of the game. He'll live on in NFL lore for a LONG time. He was the last great QB of the 90's (among John Elway, Dan Marino, Steve Young, Troy Aikman, etc.)
i will always be a packer fan because of favre i been watching him since i been watching packers man he is the greatest player ever on packers and in nfl history
He lost his father, something that nearly all of us will have to go through. His wife had breast cancer, something that so many husbands will have to watch their wives endure. He makes mistakes (the INT record) at his job. Something none of us can deny we all make mistakes in whatever line of work your in. He never missed a day of work (253). And so many of us blue collar guys will never miss a day of work because it means alot to us.
I get sick of all the haters, I hope someday Packer fans (and Jet fans) will see him in a fair light... a guy who WAS a great teammate and a good guy, who just loved to play football. Congratulations to Brett for a great career.
Brett Favre is a quarterback with a sense of humor. Funny quarterbacks tend to make great leaders. Brett Favre is a good leader. Favre has proven for years that he can lead his team better than any other quarterback in the NFL. He gets his teammates to the point where they truly believe that they can win the game just based off of the way he plays.
Brett Favre has started every game for the Packers since September 27 1992. I hope the Packers become the first team to go 0-16 for what they did to him. I mean really how many times did he pull them out of a tight spot in the 4th quarter. How many times did he go out there and play injured because he put himself before the team. I feel for you Brett i feel for you.
Favre was a legend who definitely had a few more good years left, but it was time for him to part ways with the Packers. Truth is, he deserved to win a Super Bowl with the Vikings, but his final playoff game was tragic.
Brett favre is so great he is always clutch in the playoffs when it counts, you can always count on brett favre to lead his team to victory in the playoffs. Brett never chokes in the playoffs.
They are happy to strap on that helmet with him and go through 60 minutes of hard hitting, gut wrenching action until they have played there hearts out. That is the kind of responce that most players will give you when they talk about playing with Favre. This clip above just goes to show a small few good times he shared with his fellow teammates. Favre has proven his worth over the years and he has also proven that he is a great leader.
There are Legends, There are heros, and then theres Brett Favre. Number 4 on his jersy but number 1 in our hearts, Lambeau misses you, the fans miss you, Football misses you Brett...
Mike Sherman- "I heard your retiring" Brett- " oh ya, where it say that at?" Mike Sherman- "IDK some paper..give us a half anyway will ya" Lmao priceless
1:37 he rifles that ball HARD. Still one of the strongest arms in the NFL and he's in his late 30s. Incredible. i don't know how anyone can disrespect this guy...
Brett Favre is the toughest mother f*&%er in all of sports and theres no disputing that. Never missed a starting snap in 286 games as a QB....incredible. Arguably the most exciting football player to watch in the NFL.
im a Patriots fan but i love this guy,,, i hope he gets a Ring this year to prove all the non believers that he can still get it done.. even if he dont get the ring,, he has still proved that hes still got somethin left in the tank
anybody who claims to "hate favre" oughta watch this first. i feel he's the best QB of all time, but even if he's not he sure is the most personable, most humble, toughest, and funniest.
Brett and Montana had the most important thing a QB could have; MAGIC. It's beyond arm strength, ability to read defenses, toughness etc. it's undefinable yet we all know it when we see it. Elvis, Brando and few others had it. It's a deeply human element and that spread to Bretts' teamates and made him a great winner as well as superlative QB. We want Brett back in NY for '09. Don't be surprised if Rex Ryan gets on Woody Johnsons' private plane in June and flies to Miss. for a recruiting trip!
Brett farve is a legend. first qb ever to beat EVERY team in the nfl. once he went to the vikings, he beat the packers, thus beating all 32 teams. i gotta give him credit, hes a great qb. not a good pressure qb though. face it guys, hes not retiring until he has a carrer ending injury. we could have 3 more years of farve if he can stay healthy.
"Hey you got any left handed footballs?" haha The NFL just won't be the same with out him. Love him or hate him, you gotta admit, he is one of the greats. We're all gunna miss you Brett.
What the handful of ignorant Favre haters don't get it is not only did he carry the Pack to the best recrod during his career with a team that half the time would have been sub-.500 without him, but he's one of the best guys in the game and actually plays because he loves it.
I think he's finished playing as well, this time for real...yes, we've heard this before y'know( hopefully he finally sticks with his decision one way or another ). Thanks Brett Favre for all the memories & Happy Retirement...future HOFer for sure:-)
@FistsOfFury21 ...I remember one year, when they used to do the QB challange, they were doing a distance contest and he was last. During the competition EVERY QB that was there said the competition was a waste of time. Favre stepped up and lightly tossed a ball farther than they had all THROWN the ball...He used to terrorize my bears.
I'm a die-hard Vikings fan living in Milwaukee, WI so I see ALL sides of all the angles. Brett should've swallowed his pride and retired after the Giants loss because he would've went out as close to perfection as can be. He took a team that wasn't expected to go nowhere to the brink of the Super Bowl which none of the experts predicted at the beginning of the season and actually should've won that NFC title game. It's sad from all sides. Most importantly the fans took the biggest beating.
More like by gamble. He always wanted to hit the home run ball rather than chip away at the block bit by bit, often trying to force things between the tiny gaps. From there it's a toss up between "nice play, Brett" or "what the hell were you thinking?" I'm not a Packer fan, but I'll grieve nonetheless. Tis a sad day for the NFL. It'll be a while before we see another player show as much heart as Favre has. Thanks for the memories, Brett.
The Packers hadn't won a Super Bowl in 30 years before Brett came. The last SB win, my dad was just a kid. When they won in 96, he told me how special it was to watch the Packer glory with me...because it was the kid in him coming out again, and we owe a lot of it to Brett. "Take two weeks off, then quit." lmao
Number four wearing green just looks so... Right, like the way it always should have been.
I used to watch this a bunch of times years ago. I am watching it again for ol’ time’s sake. Brett Favre’s such a fun football personality.

I could watch that all day. Great job today, Brett!
I am going to miss you, Brett! You always made the game so fun to watch, and I loved your 4th quarter comebacks. You brought back the greatness of Packers football and we are forever grateful!

That was awesome, I was laughing almost the whole time. Really gave me a new appreciation for that guy.
We will not see another player with this tenacity, carelessness, strenght and love for football til our great grandchildren's kids start watching this great game.
Favre will be missed...
a living legend. look what he's doing this year- so amazing.
Brett, i was born in green bay in 71 i didn't know a good packer team in my lifetime until you showed up. Rodgers won four times and Peyton Manning won five times.
I always loved his sound bites when they show them on ESPN or NFL network.
this video made me freakin cry... I look up to favre. and it just dosnt look right seeing his in a jets jersey. he was the greatest player to ever play that posistion.
What I love about Favre is, every time he throws a touchdown. He celebrates like it was his first. He is awesome.
What about mr.miyagi coming up and talking to me?
The best line ever
I'm from NYC, saw every Jets game this year- this guy is amazing, no QB lifts his teammates like Brett, NO -BODY! And those laser throws, NO-BODY throws em like that, it's a thrill to watch him. If he goes to Vikes, I'll watch every game!

Favre was a legendary player, but greatest of all time? Brady has seven Super Bowl wins. Favre only has one.
this man is a legend and hes hilarious and a lotta fun to watch and well miss him
That was the coolest thing I've ever heard from a Bears fan. I was glad to read that. Nice comment.
I bet it was a blast to actually play with the guy... Career Interception record or not...he loved to play. And I bet it spread to the people around him.

Coach: All right let's go. I don't wanna hear about it.
Brett Favre is A True Legend!!!! the best QB of all Time!!! the NFL will not be the same without him!
it just show much Brett loves the game

This is literally the video that made me a packer fan 16 years ago 😂🙌🏻

Go Pack Go!!!!!! I have ESPN Soundtracks with Brett Favre on my favorites!!!!!!
I'm a Packer fan and that is good to hear. Romo is looking good this season as well.
God that's a great video. We love ya, Favre.

Brett Favre is by far one of the funniest on field football players ever. A good example would be "Hey, could you grab me a left handed football?".
I couldn't breathe out there for nothin, but i came ready to play
Brett Favre is not overrated. he is a legend
The greatest of all times.
Icon of the NFL.
those moments with brett and andy reid are funny as hell, great coach and great player
I love it when Holmgren says "no more rocket balls please!"
1:37 he rifles that ball HARD. Still one of the strongest arms in the NFL and he's in his late 30s. Incredible. i don't know how anyone can disrespect this guy...
"Either my heads gettin bigger or these hats are getting smaller..shut up!"
As if everybody else is in a clowning around mood like him 😂
Brett Favre is the toughest mother f*&%er in all of sports and theres no disputing that. Never missed a starting snap in 286 games as a QB....incredible. Arguably the most exciting football player to watch in the NFL.
the last quote on the video ... brett is the best thing that came to green bay in a long time ... one more year

i blame you marty! lol
i couldnt breathe out there.....but i came ready to play (another classic)
bret is my idol i got his first rookie card wen he singed up with the falcons and then got traded to the packers in 1992
Brett and Montana had the most important thing a QB could have; MAGIC. It's beyond arm strength, ability to read defenses, toughness etc. it's undefinable yet we all know it when we see it. This makes me sad now. Some day, when Brett is long gone from footbal, I'll be able to enjoy these moments again.
the most intresting part is at 0:03 Wofford 81 Toccao Fal 15

Brett farve is a legend. first qb ever to beat EVERY team in the nfl. once he went to the vikings, he beat the packers, thus beating all 32 teams. i gotta give him credit, hes a great qb. not a good pressure qb though. face it guys, hes not retiring until he has a carrer ending injury. we could have 3 more years of farve if he can stay healthy.

It would be pretty awesome if he unretired.
This man is a legend no matter how much u hate him.

@SportsTroll4Life That is a legend you are talking about...
