Honestly what made me buy the first game lol, too bad the later chapters made me stray away from completion, I’m also hoping this game Dosent do the same thing again
If you are at all a fan of JRPGs or Final Fantasy, please buy this game! The Bravely Default games are some of the very best JRPGs of the last decade, and this game selling well on the Switch will show Square Enix that people want more of them.

I’d guess it’s probably the theme for the leader of Holograd, since he seems to have a big role to play in the story.

The original Saga Frontier was pretty bad though. A simple remaster isn’t enough to fix it. Either way the other stuff is exciting

The first "Mrgrgrgr" in Bravely Second had me screaming "Ahhhh she did the thing!"

It may be asking a bit much to ask but I'd love to see Bravely Default 1 come to switch. This game looks amazing but I'd like a new generation to also experience what made this series great in the first place.

The music convinced me too play it. However the old games deserve a REMASTER!
Why though? Isn't it good as it is? The only reason for a remaster I can come up with would be that people would be able to play it on the switch.

I feel the same haha. I did however finally 100% Fire Emblem: Three Houses less than an hour ago. 5 Playthroughs, 340 hours and finished the game on Maddening difficulty to get the last piece of the story, to have it all fully concluded and complete. Damn. Can't wait for the next Fire Emblem.
In the meantime I'm very glad to have Three Houses checked off just before Bravely Default II. From a fantastic story straight into what I expect another fantasticly written story.
I stopped playing 3H because I got into the Monster Hunter series, and while I really love FE and want to get back into 3H...Rise is gonna be holding me by a short leash!
@@michaelclifton9498 I need to finish Xenoblade chronicles DE and Fe awakening. I haven’t even started Fe Echoes. I want to play more of the triangle strategy demo. I’ve been playing a bit of super Mario 3D all stars since I recently bought it. And I want to play bravely default and I already know once I finish xenoblade I’m gonna want to play the second game. That’s not even considering the fact that there are other games of lesser priorities that I’ve already beaten and sometimes feel tempted to go back and play

Years ago I bought Bravely Default cause it gave me Golden Sun vibes when I was a kid, didn't regret... Now as a 31yo adult Im getting this one for sure

I cannot believe how excited I am! I pre-oredered the game ever since pre-orders went live, I cannot wait to play this masterpiece on the 26th! The hype is real!
I would have pre-order it when it went live as well but I did not have the space on my switch. But now with a bigger SD card I’m totally getting tonight.

Now this trailer finally managed to fully convince me to buy this game. I played the demos and did enjoy them and I got a feeling that this game is gonna have a really engaging story which I'm all about. The character designs bothers me stupidly much but I am getting more lukewarm towards it thankfully.
The enemy designs are AMAZING though. They are all so extremely good. The music is fantastic and the overall art of the environment is beautiful. The combat takes some time to learn but seeing the craziness you can do later on in the game puts my mind at ease. I can see the combat is going to be a lot of fun.
I’ve heard reviewers say so far is that the story is bland and uninteresting. Hope they’re wrong

After Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this is the most exciting physical pre-order for me. Can't wait to play it and do some classic grinding 😁
Soooo excited. The graphics and presentation still look kind of off, but I'm excited to see everything else. The new jobs look fun to learn, I like the change to individual turns instead of rounds in combat, the music is great, and I'm interested to see where they take the story this time. Even if it doesn't do anything crazy new, I think the characters could be just as charming as the first game.
I mean just try out the demo.
@@smashtube14 The demo for this should only be played for a few minutes just to see if you like the battle system. It literally starts you already into the story and you obviously can't continue when you buy the game. Very poor way of doing a demo as you will miss the beginning and then have to replay a few hours depending on how long you play it. They should have gone the Dragon Quest XI route with the demo where you play at the beginning AND carry over your playthrough to the whole game if you purchase it.

I hope they put Easter eggs in for the original two games. Since Bravely Second ended off with Ringabell in space do you think they'll connect this new game with the old ones and make a sort of space/interdimensional travel game next!? (Interdimensional because the boss of the first game was a Interdimensional monster of sorts and the whole Ringabell traveling through the wormhole and all
Thinking on it, there *really* isn't anything stopping them from doing that.

They *never* did establish if the different planes were *only* the multiple Luxendarcs or not.
We just know that Yoko has a history in one Luxendarc, Ringabel's only travelled between different Luxendarcs and nowhere else (both in-game and in Pocketbook of R), and Praying Brage's entire story is set in a ruined parallel Luxendarc.
So for all we know we *could* see some Planeswarden action happen in either this one, or whatever game happens next.
I hope so so much. Ringabell was my favorite character and I was so sad he wasn't a bigger part of Bravely Second.. that side quest broke my heart for Edea

@@chrisjackson6149 didnt play second :( , when it came out I had already started to phase out my 3ds out of boredness.
Octopath was amazing but the ending left me a very sour taste . Game has literally no conclusive ending , and the "final" superboss forcing you to grind your second party kicked me in the nuts really hard , to the point that I stopped playing mid grinding of the second party and watched the part I was missing on youtube

That the reason I never finished the first one. Then was too busy with uni to even touch the second lol. But if they learned their lesson I'll give it a go
No regrets on buying this game. It's amazing! I really enjoy that battle style! And the music is great.

For me, what hurt more was Anne in the second game. Like, I knew that she was evil, but I didn't know that she was the same fairy from the intro and post-credits of the first game, the one that encouraged you to stop Airy.

Was wondering why that voice sounded so familiar. If it really is the same guy, I'm looking forward to that character.
Years ago, first time i listened linked horizon live bravely default concert on youtube i just said myself i wished i could be there and watch them live. I put a headset and started to watch that concert on yt without blinkin my eyes. That was so exciting and amazing experience. Without knowing anything about bravely default, i decided to buy a nintendo 3ds and i did it immediately. I can't really tell how much i enjoyed while playing it, still can't forget masterpiece songs. Linked Horizon is beast.
And i recently bought Nintendo switch able to play Bravely Default and Monster Hunter Rise. After i heard that Revo came back for this beautiful game again, that made me much more exciting.

This game is gorgeus . The sacrifices made on the models were compensated on the textures. Loved the first demo and hoping to play a fantastic adventure on the full version. Thank you Nintendo and Square Enix.

I was playing the demo version for this and i have to say i like the fighting style it's like final fantasy dissidia where you have to build brave and then you can attack.
the voice acting really has major xenoblade 2 energy and i love it lol

Y'know, I liked this art style back on the DS and 3DS because it matched the hardware, but here it just gives me icky mobile game vibes.
Biggest problem for me was: cartoon characters with realistic texture (clothes mainly), it doesn't seem to match ...

Man I wish we got a dedicated trailer that showed off what changes they made from the demo to here. I'm excited for the music and the amazing world design + monsters but that's...kind of it. The demo really was lacking in some parts that I'm not seeing really addressed.

I'm wondering if they made any changes since the final demo. I was really looking forward to the game and had it pre-ordered since day one. I'm playing the demo now and there are so many problems with it that I am hesitant to buy it now. I want to see if they fixed a lot of the issues.

I liked them I was just angry that they made them so different then the game. They go in admitting that they increase difficulty and edited the story slightly for the first demo which is a way to scare off new comers. The second demo was just a part of the middle game basically spoiling that part of the story so I just skipped though all the text and dialogue and that’s what I want but I don’t want to be spoiled by a freaking demo.
My fellow JRPG players, let's support this game! The Bravely series deserves more love and attention. Maybe if this game performs well, hopefully they will port the 3DS games on Switch!
If anyone here LOVES Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and FF 6 you NEED and MUST play Bravely Default II,
the game is one HUGE homage to FF IV & FF V, lovingly crafted with with the plethora of elements that made those 16-bit classics amazing, and keeps all the best elements from the 3DS Bravely Default games. Seriously GET this game and play it. It has a great "classic feel" to it all through-out the game. I've been playing it for two weeks now and I've been loving playing through the game. Bosses are HUGELY powerful and tough and require specific tactics and can take 20~30 min or longer to defeat! so they're no push overs!
I really wish they had the more realistic proportions that the art portrays them as and not the chibi art style that they have in-game. I understand why it was like that on 3DS though.
Either that or they need to stick with the more stylized look of the first game. This middle ground approach is okay but not the best

Ok, probably a dumb question. If it says “releases worldwide on feb 26” does it mean we can get it earlier if we buy it in Australian eshop for example? I really wanna play it soon. ❤️
So it really depends on if they do a simultaneous release or not. If they release the game at a specific simultaneous time all over the country than you wouldn't get it earlier from the eshop(actual Aussie so timezones are weird). If it is a standard worldwide release, then yes you could get it "early" from the eshop. It just depends on how it gets released.

I agree, but the eyes are strange. Also I hope the characters will have more emotion in their face. Except that, it's clearly a day one buy fir me.
@@Terranigma23 agree, they had horrible dead, emotionless eyes on the first demo (which I complained on the feedback page they put months ago) that's so painful to watch. the character designs are not much of a problem for me. like, I can let the other things slide, but not those eyes.
but the newest trailers are looking slightly better, so here's hoping that they'll put some lives in those eyes. toggle the shading a bit, maybe?

and each time they surprised us (Airy reeeeealy had me, because i wasnt paying attention to her wings and stuff) and Anne was just the cherry on top but this time the bad guy was beside a fairy..

I have not played the originals on 3DS, but I want to make sure I support the developers because I want more of these types of games being made. I bought Octopath when I released and I would like this series to continue as well.
Next week cannot come soon enough.
