Afternoon Railfanning around Phoenix Featuring UP 1943!

On January 13th, 2024, word quickly got out that UP 1943 was to lead an outbound train on the Phoenix subdivision departing in the afternoon. Since I was already out chasing trains this day, I decided to chase the 1943 on most of its journey along the namesake subdivision. After catching a few last trains on the transcon, I raced up to Mesa to begin the exciting chase. I got multiple good run-bys on this one, and it was a good lashup too, so hope you enjoy the video!
