“You can’t just pull his head off,” but his head literally just pops off in my experience…
I just want to have people be careful cause sometimes if you just pull it off too fast you could accidentally break something. If it works for you then that also works!
@@todayigrewup of course, my experience personally was that several years back, his head popped off when I accidentally flung him to the floor, and afterwards was a bit more loose when I put his head back on, so could just be my Woody’s blunt force trauma that made the head swap easier.

Howdy! I was wondering if I could just take the head and voice box out just to clean his body and put it back. I noticed you didn’t need to remove the neck zip tie.

Do you know if it’s possible to save a signature voice box with the pull string inside. I can’t for the life of me open the thing. Also can you remove the head of the signature and put it back? I don’t want to damage the doll joint.
I also found things like white logo worry for 20 bucks but it’s like a butt load of shipping I might have to give and I don’t know

How do you get that part that holds the head part in and do you need that part on your woody head that you swapped or can you just zip tie it
Depends.. not a toy company fixed that issue and now it comes with a neck peg. I can’t answer that question because every Woody head is different. If you ask me what Woody head you are using I can better help direct you on what you need to do. For the zip tie method to work though you need some sort of neck peg for the zip tie to grip otherwise it can’t work and the head can fall off.

I'm currently working on this but I'm having some issues with the voice box, I used the soft and huggable head on the signature woody that I had when I was really young and I attached the head and swapped the hands but the one issue I'm having is the voice box , it doesn't fit back in and I don't know what to do. Would you be able to help me?
(2/3) It's a shame that I can't get that custom pull string since I'm in the UK 😅
(3/3) Oh and also I know why it won't go back in it is because of the peg thing where the zip tie goes on the head and the voice box has that part where the head attaches to it
but I don't know how I would fix this. Do I get a custom voice box instead?
If you want to use the huggable plush head and also use the collection or signature collection voice box you have to follow this tutorial instead th-cam.com/video/pf-cqttP6xU/w-d-xo.html because it shows you how to transfer the original peg into the new head…that way it will work for you.

TodayIgrewUp how do you fix a Woody with a broken pin, my son let his Woody fall and his neak pin broke and now it's held on with super glue. How do you fix the head pin.
I’ve never broken a head pin before, that’s bad because besides super glue there is not much else you can do. You can try getting rid of the neck pin all together break it all off and then rely on a small zitptie to keep his head on. I’m going to do a head swap with Disney store Woody because I like The signature collection better but I like the Disney store voice box and I don’t know how to take the voice box out and I’m only 14 so I don’t have the money to replace Disney store with me if Something Happens but I do know how to do a head swap

I would say if you’re not confident in trying to do these things don’t do it. It took me 2 years to get confident to this point. So practice makes perfect but always go slow and be as careful as possible.

It could but I haven’t modded a tomy Woody before so not too sure but from what I have seen looks like it could be done with zip ties like all other Woody’s

Have you heard of medicone ultimate woody, look up on youtube or something because he is a very nice accurate woody doll
I like him but I think many things about him are not accurate that I don’t like and for the price I wouldn’t get it. For one his face on the back by his neck he has very giant visible seam lines that look ugly, due to the interchangeable faces feature. Also his jeans are too dark, he isn’t a rag doll body as much, he has no working voice box or pull string. His face looks off, pale and rosy cheeks are not really there. Belt buckle and spurs are not the right color yellow they are too gold. So many issues..

It was really to just make a tutorial to help people at home who are trying to mod Woody themselves. If you watch the whole video (bonus at the end) I put the signature head back on!

That head cost me $100 and I helped to design it so it’s a special prototype of sorts I always intend to keep.
