Thanks. Actually the car was completely wrapped in protective plastic. The dealership delivered it from West Virginia to my home in Pennsylvania and picked up my trade. Easiest car deal I have ever made.
Thanks, I was actually driving next to another one yesterday, I don't usually get to hear how it sounds from outside when driving, if I didn't know what it was I would have thought it was a Ferrari, a LOUD Ferrari.
Even the regular C8s with the NPP performance exhaust are very loud on start up, the difference is the Z06 stays at a very audible volume when you drive normally, the regular C8s are almost silent, I like to hear my car when driving. On the highway if I am driving with the wife I can even put it in Touring Mode an the exhaust is still audible, but not overbearing.
I would agree on the regular C8s, but the Z06 with its flat plane crank V8 that revs to 8600rpms is as exotic an engine as anything out there from Porsche or Ferrari. It is the first Vette I've owned that actually sounds great from the factory. I often think about grabbing a Shelby GT350 with a manual transmission for a similar engine with a 8250rpm redline.
@howardg1524 I understand that is exotic, the bodies all look the same. I love a good engine but in a world of repetitive behaviors and looks, it still has the same body design. Even with physical mods, at the end of the day, the same look.
@@chugchug5657 Keep in kind, a Vette or Porsche even if it performs as well or better than an exotic will never be an exotic as they make too many of them. Ferraris and Lamborghinis are much more rare, that is what makes them true exotics.
Beautiful vehicle. Odd delivery for such an expensive car. Was the other option a horse-drawn carriage?

@@howardg1524 Good to hear. Enjoy it

I love these vettes but they are common everywhere, nostalgia and exotic are gone😢

@@howardg1524 Exactly, that's what I'm trying to explain. I see those vettes everywhere
@@chugchug5657 I mean every vehicle body style runs for 3-5 years lol. So of course every C8 will look the same.....
