It's rare to see not two, but three bands collaborate, and they made it work exceptionally well. The distribution of their parts is well done, everybody sticks to what they do best, and the singers sound great together. I'm surprisingly captivated by this song. And after the collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, I can't even say that I blindly like everything that BABYMETAL do. :-)
I hear you on that one. I can't listen to the Lil Uzi Vert colab, it's awful. However, you have to try to understand why they did the colab. LUV has an insane number of clicks on his channel each month, I guess that Babymetal's handlers feel that if they can capture some new fans then it's worth their time. The opportunity to gain even 500 new fans is valuable, as I am sure you know that Babymetal fans are very 'sticky', once they find Babymetal they tend to stay with them and become very loyal. This may, over time equate to album, concert and merch sales. I hope the LUV colab pays off for them, however, Babymetal aren't going to lose too many fans by recording that song.
