    Actually there’s a huge community of off-road enthusiasts in both the UAE 🇦🇪 and Oman 🇴🇲 and they are some of the nicest people you can meet. Great multicultural communities of both Emiratis and Omanis as well as other arabs from the region along with people from all continents. Rock crawling, dune bashing, and offroading culture in general has a been a thing over here for a long while and it’s continuously growing and evolving with much more support recently from community members, technical experts, as well as modding communities and automotive companies.
    You’ll find a huge diversity of terrain types excellent for off-roading over here you wouldn’t believe it. Have fun!

    • @LiteBrite
      @LiteBrite  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      While here, we’ve definitely heard that Oman has some amazing rock crawling. So it’s absolutely on our list now of places to travel and experience! But you’re totally right - it’s so multicultural! And everyone so far has been so accepting and hospitable! It’s been an incredible experience all around! ❤️

    I am absolutely blown away that you guys don’t have more subscribers. I have been watching you for years. This is definitely a top three TH-cam channel for me and I honestly thought you guys had at least 1 million subscribers so come on people start subscribing.

    • @LiteBrite
      @LiteBrite  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We don’t try quite as hard as some other channels to cater to the TH-cam algorithm, and focus more on just doing what makes us happy and sharing it with viewers (even if it’s not necessarily off road related). Which means we live a super happy life, but sometimes TH-cam doesn’t want to notify our subscribers or share our content, and overall limits our growth. But we don’t worry about it because we have an amazing work/life balance this way! 🥰

    Giving us a perspective most people in North America would never see. So awesome. Thank you, Litebrite. One thing that I pay close attention to, where ever you are filming from, is how people are wheeling. Are they following the "Tread Lightly" rules or just tearing shit up. In the middle east, the environment is low on the list when it comes to being outdoors and preserving the environment takes a backseat to fun. It's really a shame because it looked really cool there.

    • @LiteBrite
      @LiteBrite  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It’s a difference perspective, right? These are people who, until very recently in the grand scheme of things, relied solely on palm trees and fishing to survive. It took a while for even the USA to adopt a “tread lightly” mentality (and that’s after decades of off roading being a well established hobby). Rock crawling is extremely new here, only a couple of years, and they don’t have “fire roads” or pre-established trails to use. They have to make their own first, which luckily is in an area that’s otherwise pretty unused and with little greenery.

    I noticed 50 psi and tires a poping. Teach them the air down.

      A lot of these vehicles are daily drivers. Rock crawling is very new to this area, and getting proper off road tires is actually really difficult. So finding a sweet spot between not risking a flat or side wall damage (especially in terrain like this where the rocks are tire killers) and finding traction, it’s a work in progress and a constant battle. 🤙

      They definitely have the “full send” mentality. But it’s also very new here (referring to rock crawling in general) and the terrain is very different than most places in the states!

    I like the wheels and I would get them but I want to upgrade my axles and don’t want to have to buy them again later

      100%! Definitely would recommend a “one and done” method when upgrading!

    Where is the Toyota with the 50cal mounted in the bed? LOL. But those are some nice rigs. Just goes to show that we are all not so different in this world

    It’s so clear to see how much more capable the vehicles are in this video than the drivers are. It’s weird to see such a big gap in the 2

    • @LiteBrite
      @LiteBrite  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not really. Most of these drivers are very new to rock crawling. And as individuals who have attended quite a few Jeep Jamborees and other “newbie” oriented off road events, this isn’t anything outside the norm. Throttle control & understanding what your vehicle can and cannot do all comes with seat time. Everyone has to start learning somewhere. And America has DECADES more experience in this hobby than Dubai. But even in America, we find beginners who are trying to learn just like some of these drivers. 😊❤️

    A Wrangler with CV joints?

      @LiteBrite  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      We honestly don’t know for certain, but from what we understand, Europe and certain other countries have CVs instead of U-joints on some models. Different transfer cases too.

    Didn’t look like any of the rigs air down tires for traction.

      Yeah I was testing 10psi on the 47s after grooving them to avoid pinch flats...we later dropped to 8psi and it worked better

    • @wwadi1
      @wwadi1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @bgood424 If you air down below 8psi you increase the risk of severely tearing a sidewall .. most of those rigs are daily drivers

      Like he said above - a lot of these vehicles are daily drivers. Rock crawling is very new to this area, and getting proper off road tires is difficult.
